    if you have a speedy guy on second you bunt towards third (or at least make a serious attempt to) and steal third at the same time. even the batter pulls back on the bunt, most likely the third baseman is moving in and i'd say you have a very good chance at pulling off the steal.

    i'm ok with a trade for Ryan as long as we don't overpay. i'll pass on Cease unless it's for prospects. no way in hell i'd trade Duran for 2 months of Cease -who i really don't consider to be that good anyway.

    perhaps players constantly playing out of position is why Cora's teams are last in OOA, fielding pct, errors, etc. every freakin' year. but hey....he's a player's manager. how cool is that?

    Cora is all the time swapping guys around, playing guys at every position (even if they've never played there), and he's done that with everybody except Devers, despite the fact that he absolutely sucked at 3B. is Cora that stupid?

    same here. some people tend to forget how few prospects every make it as productive every day players. for every Chapman, or Bregman or Devers, there are about a thousand Jeter Downs.

    except for our pitching. runs allowed per game: Red Sox 4.35 only the A's, O's and Angels are allowing more RPG in the AL.
