  1. Well said, but I wasn’t one that didn’t think the Sox would be a good team this year. They had a pretty good 2-4 batting order, and was getting E Rod, and Sale back at sometime too. I didn’t count on 90+ wins, but I thought they would be pretty good. As for home field advantage as I wrote before I don’t think it exists especially against the Yankees who love to play in Fenway.Either way the Sox have a chance, and once your in ANYTHING’S POSSIBLE!
  2. Maybe Ralph Houck? That was a show to see him argue with the umps, and throw his hat. I’d just like to see Cora do that one time.
  3. Always wanting someone to own up for something.
  4. I wouldn’t put Cora up there Tito. The league was a lot tougher back in Tito’s days, and I think about anyone could have managed that 2018 team. They were that good.
  5. Bobby V was a clown show, and in a world all to himself.
  6. Well said, and that’s what most fans do especially when you go from one extreme to the other between the first half of the season, and the second half when to say they struggled would only be a mild exaggeration.
  7. I just never would have hired him in the first place, or anyone else who was involved. Yes hate is a powerful word, and especially when it isn’t true. I like Cora, and I know the players like him, but I would like to see a little more fire out of him.
  8. You said I hated Cora, and I’m still waiting for you to show me where I said that, or is it exaggerating at its best.
  9. I would say everyone is guilty of twisting in the wind, and turning on that so called dime sometime pitch to pitch. It is pretty comical, and is pretty much all the same thing, and I’m sure it will be the status quo on Tuesday. Can’t wait.
  10. I didn’t know we had beaten the Yankees already.
  11. I’m not the one over analyzing, but I’m wondering who said Pivetta was going to the pen. If I was over analyzing I’d say Pivetta was going to the pen. We’ve to get to that point first, and beat the Yankees.
  12. Looks good to me, but do we know for sure that Pivetta would come out of the rotation?
  13. It’s good to have Whitlock back too
  14. The Jays, and Rays cooled Stanton off, so hopefully he stays that way.
  15. Sox- Yankees. The way it should be.
  16. With JD getting hurt the way he did the Sox are literally stumbling, and bumbling to the finish.
  17. JD trips over 2B going out to play D, and the Catcher can’t catch the pitch. What next.
  18. OMG. Someone bashing Cora.
  19. There is NO way to know what would have happened yesterday, but we DO know what happened today.
  20. I’m glad the xtra days rest has made Sale sharper, and better. Not!
  21. Once again over analyzing and trying to put words in my mouth like I hate Cora. Show me where I said that. Once again over analyzing, and exaggerating.
  22. I never said that starting Sale yesterday was was the right thing to do, but only that’s what I would have done, and yesterday would have been the right time to do something like that with the season on the line. You guys keep babying Sale like he was before he had his TJ. He is probably more stronger, and healthier now since he had the TJ, so what system has been in place for years. We can go back, and fourth all time, but let’s move on to today’s game.
  23. I don’t keep insisting I just said that is what I would have done, and you guys keep it going, and like I just said this short rest thing is way over exaggerated. Back to football, so let’s move on, and see how things turn out today.
  24. Look ifSale would have pitched yesterday, and got knocked around I would have said I was wrong, but he didn’t, and it worked out, which I’m glad. As for Cora who said anything about hating him. I read lots of negative Cora comments the past week, and more than one have said to fire him, so it’s not just me, but I have never said I hate Cora, and I don’t it’s strictly for his cheating. You like to over exaggerate just like with this short rest thing that is way over exaggerated. Throw 120 pitches, and then it will mean something.
  25. Houck worked out, but you don’t know what Sale would have done unless you have a crystal ball, which you seem to have.
