  1. I not to sure he will, and definitely not from Boston.
  2. Who said Bogey was asking for $30M?
  3. If you mean the realistic one who doesn’t wear Red colored glasses all the time, and doesn’t agree with all Cora’s, and Bloom’s moves, and says something about them them I’ll wear that hat.
  4. This is all good, but i wasn’t talking about this year, but in the future.
  5. Is 200 BA a bounce back? Time will tell, but I’m not counting on JBJ to give much more than good D.
  6. Groome can be thrown into the mix too, but to think all of these pitchers developing into good pitchers would be more than just taking a big chance, and how many have had major arm injuries already? Sounds good money wise, but not very realistic, or sound thinking. If, and when they develop great, but until then you need a better plan.
  7. Can Bradley hit? Can Duran hit? Can Arroyo stay healthy? I would just like to know the answer to one of these. Any guess?
  8. Yes, and yes, and if you start Duran against RHP’s who is going to sit? I’m not saying I’m right, and you may be the one who’s right. I wish there were better options like another RH bat in the outfield.
  9. I know Arroyo is not moving, but I don’t think he’s platooning either, and what Kike did last year doesn’t mean he’ll do the same this year. Having so many lefty hitting outfielders is a big problem that Bloom has created, but we’ll find out soon enough. I’m not counting on Duran at all at least to start.
  10. I think you are moving Kike, and Arroyo around to much at least to start the season, and to much for Duran.
  11. Pretty expensive late innings replacement guy. I’m not over estimating nothing about Bradley. I didn’t like the acquisition in the first place prospects, or not.
  12. Pure speed is good, but I’d rather see a pure bat.
  13. Top 100 prospect, or not he has to earn a position, which at this point I don’t think he has, so unless Arroyo gets hurt, which could very well happen I don’t see Duran gets anymore than a bench roll to start the season if that.
  14. I singled out Renfroe just to say his bat was more than just mediocre last year.
  15. 2021 is long gone, and has nothing to do with this year just like 2019 had nothing to do with 2018. Things worked out last year, but as close as they were to the WS they were just as close to not even making the postseason. The AL East to me has gotten better, but I can’t say the same about the Sox at this point.
  16. Without anyone on base no one would get a RBI without hitting a HR whether it was Ted, Yaz, Manny, or Ortiz. Great point!
  17. You could have said that about anyone on the team. The margin of error was razor thin, and everyone contributed. Schwaber, and his .957 OPS had nothing to do with if Renfroe’s bat was mediocre or not.
  18. All I was responding to was saying losing Schwaber’s bat was a monster bat, but losing Renfroe’s bat was just a mediocre bat based off last year, and I thought Renfroe’s bat was more than mediocre. I was well aware that they batted in different positions in the order, but that had nothing to do to me with only saying Renfroe was mediocre.
  19. I’m not hung up so much on 96 RBI only to say that 96 RBI is not a mediocre bat just like I wouldn’t say Pedroia’s 50 was bad.
  20. All I care about is Renfroe had 96 RBI, which is better than mediocre, and I don’t care how he got them. Call it crazy all you want, and you can have your stats, and I’ll have mine.
  21. Is 96 RBI mediocre?
  22. Without Renfroe, and his 96 RBI last year the Sox wouldn’t have made the post season. 96 RBI is not mediocre even in todays analytics world, and that all I was saying. Schwaber is not a RBI guy, which I have mentioned more than once on here, and I’m glad he is long gone. Never would have been a replacement for JD.
  23. I could care less about OPS. All I said was that 96 RBI is more than a mediocre bat, and Flintstone was no monster man. Nothing more, and nothing less. Like I said before YABBA DABBA DOO Flintstone Schwaber is gone too.
  24. 96 RBI from Renfroe was more than a mediocre bat, and Flintstone Schwarber was no monster either.
