  1. I don’t think there was any sacrifice.
  2. We’ll said, and I 100% agree.
  3. I don’t think getting an actual 1B who could play 1B, or an RHH OF not named Arroyo who could catch the ball, and hit a little that both have been sorely needed needed a blockbuster move.
  4. You keep on going to the fantasy that the Red Sox looked good until the injuries hit. The only time the Red Sox have looked good was going against the NL West when Seattle was playing bad, and the Angels were going through a 15 game losing streak. They started 10-19, and the bottom line is they have beat the bad playing teams, and have lost to the good teams.
  5. None of the above.
  6. You mean Walter Alston, Maury Wills, Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax, Wes Parker, Junior Gilliam Jim Lefebre, and co?
  7. Minimum wage?
  8. Who was drained off the upper farm who would be playing a big roll in Boston today?
  9. As I’ve been saying all along now for months now my main concern is who’s playing on the field at Fenway Park in a Red Sox uniform, and nothing else. I don’t care about who’s on the 40 man roster, or the ranking of the farm system. Casas, and Mayer may turn into good ML players, but until they do I don’t care what they do at Worcester, or any other farm league city. Red Sox record here, and now is what I look at, and care about, and will worry about next year after this season is over. Some like to project the Red Sox 40 man in 2025, and good for you, and some were talking about fire sales before this past season even started, where I could care less. Now it’s get rid of all expiring contracts, and see how many prospects/suspects we can get back. Bottom line the Red Sox are a last place team, and there is plenty of blame to go around, and that starts at the top.
  10. My main point has been all along has been Bloom could have done a better job in replacing Mookie, Beni, and Renfroe. If your’re happy with Bloom, and think he’s a boy wonder then good for you, but i on the other hand am not, and think of Bloom is being more of a Boy Blunder. Different opinions from a different way at looking at things.
  11. Yes I knew it all, but still the bottom line is that the Red Sox are worse off, and the bottom line is Dugy replaced Mookie. Spin all you want, but still the Red Sox are worse off.
  12. 11 NBA championships in 13 yrs, but he was hurt in one of those years the Celtics didn’t win, so he really only lost 1 year in the NBA. He should have his #6 retired by the NBA just like Jackie Robinson in baseball.
  13. B L O O M has taken Mookie, Beni, and Renfroe, and turned them into Dugy, Franchy, and JBJ. How has that made the Red Sox better. News Flash! It hasn’t.
  14. I agree with you the team won in spite of Farrell.
  15. Didn’t Farrell have a last place finish on his resume?
  16. I agree with you they should resign Bogey, and Raffy.
  17. I just like to see how they justify all these moves, and I give them A for effort, but nothing else.
  18. You don’t have to win a Championship every year, but you shouldn’t have as many last place finishes in those years either. Not with the payroll the Red Sox have.
  19. Do you think the way the team played in June had anything, or everything to do with playing the bad AL West? I do, and wasn’t the Angels going through a 15 game losing streak at the time, and Seattle was not the team they are today either.
  20. At least you admitted there are excuse makers, but maybe it’s the excuses that could be classified as annoying.
  21. 59 was one of the ones that didn’t think Renfroe, was good enough, or worth another contract in Boston. Maybe he could go work as one of Bloom’s assistants.
  22. So the Red Sox were a AAA team to start 10-19? You can only take the injury thing just so far, before it gets not credible.
  23. The amazing part is that the excuse makers on here think they are the ones who are in the majority, and like I’ve said many times this forum is a very small percentage of opinions of what’s out there in the rest of Red Sox Nation.
  24. It’s just not Bloom who gets protected on here, but Cora, and JH as well. In the mean time the Red Sox are a 3 ring circus residing in last place, and all the excuses in the world will not change that.
  25. Oh please! Blaming the start of the season on Chris Frail. The biggest problem was the Sox didn’t have a closer, and lost all those early games because of it, and that had nothing to do with Frail. Good try! but kind of a weak effort.
