  1. Going with the old fallback, and name calling. Saying someone is childish is childish in itself.
  2. Are you proud of yourself for going old school? Give yourself a pat on the back, and when you are done You can watch Bogey play SS.
  3. The point being that asking Cora he may disagree with you, and I really don’t care if Kennedy was lying one way, or the other. Like I said earlier I think your more exited to have Kennedy, or me wrong than to sign Story, which you said made little sense.
  4. What about the report that Story’s arm strength has deteriorated the last two years?Isn’t 11 throwing errors last year sound like a problem?
  5. I’ve already said that, and said we will disagree. What more do you want me to say? You have your opinion, and I have mine. Your opinion, or my opinion is not going to get Bogey off SS, or keep him at SS. Why don’t you ask Cora what kind of SS he thinks Bogey is?
  6. I’ve seen all Red Sox SS from Eddie Bressoud to Bogey. To say Bogey is not even average on defense yes we will disagree on that. In time he may move to 2nd, or 3B like Rico, Hoffman, or Johnny V just to name a few, but in my opinion it doesn’t need to happen right now, and he way it sounds it won’t. Remember in Cora we trust.
  7. Bogey may never win a gold glove as a SS, but he is no col CLINK either. To me metrics run to much of the game, and not for the better. I know lots of people like all the metrics stuff, and good for them, but you shouldn’t judge so much by them.
  8. Ok. Story to leadoff then.
  9. Story 5th? How about 2nd, and move everyone down 1 notch?
  10. I not to sure he will, and definitely not from Boston.
  11. Who said Bogey was asking for $30M?
  12. If you mean the realistic one who doesn’t wear Red colored glasses all the time, and doesn’t agree with all Cora’s, and Bloom’s moves, and says something about them them I’ll wear that hat.
  13. This is all good, but i wasn’t talking about this year, but in the future.
  14. Is 200 BA a bounce back? Time will tell, but I’m not counting on JBJ to give much more than good D.
  15. Groome can be thrown into the mix too, but to think all of these pitchers developing into good pitchers would be more than just taking a big chance, and how many have had major arm injuries already? Sounds good money wise, but not very realistic, or sound thinking. If, and when they develop great, but until then you need a better plan.
  16. Can Bradley hit? Can Duran hit? Can Arroyo stay healthy? I would just like to know the answer to one of these. Any guess?
  17. Yes, and yes, and if you start Duran against RHP’s who is going to sit? I’m not saying I’m right, and you may be the one who’s right. I wish there were better options like another RH bat in the outfield.
  18. I know Arroyo is not moving, but I don’t think he’s platooning either, and what Kike did last year doesn’t mean he’ll do the same this year. Having so many lefty hitting outfielders is a big problem that Bloom has created, but we’ll find out soon enough. I’m not counting on Duran at all at least to start.
  19. I think you are moving Kike, and Arroyo around to much at least to start the season, and to much for Duran.
  20. Pretty expensive late innings replacement guy. I’m not over estimating nothing about Bradley. I didn’t like the acquisition in the first place prospects, or not.
  21. Pure speed is good, but I’d rather see a pure bat.
  22. Top 100 prospect, or not he has to earn a position, which at this point I don’t think he has, so unless Arroyo gets hurt, which could very well happen I don’t see Duran gets anymore than a bench roll to start the season if that.
  23. I singled out Renfroe just to say his bat was more than just mediocre last year.
  24. 2021 is long gone, and has nothing to do with this year just like 2019 had nothing to do with 2018. Things worked out last year, but as close as they were to the WS they were just as close to not even making the postseason. The AL East to me has gotten better, but I can’t say the same about the Sox at this point.
