  1. Doesn’t get enough on here, and has come up with some big hits the past few years.
  2. That’s what I mean the 8th inning guy faced their best hitters
  3. Sometimes the 8th inning guy is more important than the closer in the 9th. Great job today for The Schreib Man.
  4. Keep waiting for Kike, and Bobby D to repeat last year all you want, but their are more options this year that they might not get the chance.
  5. Once again production from the leadoff hitter. Maybe Kike should go back to the job he had with the Dodgers as 4th OF, or 5th IF when he comes back. Watch Moon’s ears perk up.
  6. You don’t hear as much 3rd time through the order stuff this year. Better all the way around.
  7. Not this year, and they showed his Ave earlier against FB.
  8. Story doesn’t have much of a chance against hard throwers.
  9. Just my confine. Haven’t heard anywhere else.
  10. Fireworks at Story Land today.
  11. He did have the best save of the season so far when he struck out the side against the Yankees on Sunday night baseball opening weekend, but outside of that has been shaky for the most part.
  12. It took 50+ games, but finally at least for now anyways Houck it appears is the closer. Don’t know if he can do the job, or not, and hasn’t pitched in back to back days yet, but it is worth a try, and the options are limited outside of a trade. The BP has played a big part in the season so far, and I got a feeling will play a big part going forward especially with that tough stretch coming up. It will will interested to see how things shake out when the injured trio of Sale, Evol, and Whitlock come back. Barnes is also in limbo.
  13. Like I said earlier this will be a big challenge for Kutter tonight.
  14. Agree I haven’t given up on Houck after 1 shaky game.
  15. Next Cora has to see how he does on back to back nights, which hasn’t happened yet. He only threw 15 pitches last night, so it will be interesting to see if Cora uses him tonight if needed. Big challenge for Kutter tonight.
  16. He did make it harder than it should have been.
  17. Radtz was my favorite, but I guess a little before your time.
  18. Yes he did, and I don’t doubt his stuff.
  19. Agree, and don’t forget Sale, and Kutter too. Bottom line Houck crapped his pants last night, and if a few Imodium won’t do the trick outside of a trade the Sox are in deep doo doo especially with the tough part of the schedule coming up. That shouldn’t have been a tough save last night, but Houck turned it into one. Crazy rules too that he was awarded a save.
  20. If Sale doesn’t get hurt to start the season I don’t think you see Houck, or Whitlock in the rotation unless someone got hurt. Cora picked Houck over Whitlock to start the season in the rotation, but when Houck couldn’t go to Toronto it got switched. Who knows what would have happened if all of that hadn’t taken place, and maybe Whitlock would have been tried as the closer by now.
  21. Seems like Cora picked him too, so I guess by your analogy Cora must have the same superior insight. The more you dig you just bury yourself more, and more.
  22. Your just mad, because they didn’t bring your choice Hector in, so you must be saying that Cora doesn’t know what he’s doing by bringing Houck in. Ragging on Cora like that your just a bad fan.
