    My comment about Bello starting on Monday was just trying to keep Moon up to speed, so it was not any kind of expertise since it had already been reported yesterday, but if the Plow Man does get a start I’ll put out a news flash just for you Max.

    I always thought Betts didn’t like playing in Boston until I heard him do a podcast with Rob Bradford, and now I just think he wanted to be paid, and the Red Sox were not going to that high.

    Chicago is still in the playoff hunt at the moment, and I’m not sure that they are selling, but the Sox need help now, and to me Abreu would be a good pickup.

    Like I keep saying Judge to the Red Sox is pure fantasy, but Abreu would take a prospect, or two out of Bloom’s prized possession.

    Yes Flintstone Schwarber is gone, but not forgotten, and in hindsight yes the Sox should have traded JD, and signed Schwaber, but it didn’t happen, and that’s the way it is. All this Judge talk is just plain ridiculous. The Red Sox have not signed Raffy yet, and all of a sudden John Henry is going to hand Bloom over a couple of blank checks, and tell him to sign Raffy, and outbid the Yankees for Judge. It’s more likely for Raffy to join Judge in NY than the other way around so Come On Man let’s get real.

    Unwinnable game? Seems to me Story came up in the 9th being the tying run. I would hasten to add that Robles should have been DFA’d long ago, or not resigned in the first place. Nobody else wanted him except Bloom.
