    Yes, but did he expect the amount of blowback from Red Sox Nation? Like I keep repeating that JH has rabbit ears, and I’m sure doesn’t like the amount of scrutiny the Sox are getting along with the NESN ratings, and attendance down.

    Yes Bloom did say they needed another OF bat, but he did not say as a starter. Paying JBJ, and his contract prospects, or not just didn’t make any financial sense to be a 4th OF.

    Yes the odds are some will amount to something, but what are the odds that one turns out to be a Mookie, Bogey, or Raffy, which the Red Sox could very well loose them all. As Uncle Jed used to say Pitiful just plain pitiful.

    The 2018 flag had nothing to do with Chris Sale contract ext. Sale still had 2019 to go on his old contract.

    The point is that Sale was not healthy, and TJ was pretty much predicted. Of course all the accumulated injuries after has added to the misery.

    Duran should be down in the rookie league, and ONLY move up when he can track, and catch a fly ball properly, and not look like he is trying to catch butterflies.

    I don’t care if Judge hits 70 this year. It looks good, but what are the changes that he has a year like this again let alone stay healthy as he gets older. To me not worth the money, or length of a contract he will get. Raffy to me is a lot better option, and safer bet.
