  1. Like I said before he was in the nerd room with all the analytics, and the rest of the nerds, and now he is out front, and is just way in over his head. I’ve said it from the day he was hired. He should have just stayed in that nerd room.
  2. Now your talking, but some of the posters on here worry more about the payroll than they should for this guy.
  3. He’s already done nice things. He raised ticket prices. Nice things for him anyways.
  4. All along I’ve just thought that Bloom was just in over his head, but it was explained very well yesterday that Bloom is just Henry’s dummy, and this to me proves it. I can see clearly now why Bloom took a 96 RBI RF, and traded him for someone who couldn’t hit his weight, and then released him during the season after spending more money for him. Also why Bloom set there for months watching Franchy Strange Glove try, and play 1B, and also Duran, Duran The Butterfly Man trying to play the OF, and didn’t do anything about it. And then of course looking for that 3rd option at the fork it the road at the trade deadline. He just couldn’t help himself, because he’s just Henry’s dummy.
  5. Bogey leaving like he did was the result of Ownership/Front Office malpractice. I think the B Globe nailed it on that one. What do you think the rest of ML Baseball think? Laughing all the way no doubt. Like I keep saying it’s not, because of the final result, but what led up to the final result starting with last offseason. Dummies, liars, or both?
  6. And even raised ticket prices again to prove how much they care.
  7. He’d better be right on this one, because of other reports I’ve read other teams doesn’t have Yoshida ranked so highly, and certainly not worth what the Red Sox are paying him. Underpay to Bogey, and over pay on Yoshida an unproven ML talent?
  8. We were at least $100M short on signing Bogey, and there is no way the Red Sox could land Ohtani.
  9. I doubt he’s nowhere near prepared for he scrutiny he’ll be getting, and it will be worse than the warm welcome Story Land got if he gets off to a bad start.
  10. I don’t think JH is sitting there comparing ages, or metics, or anything else except $.
  11. What kind of % are you calling might? I’m saying 0%. The Red Sox were $100M short on Bogey, and you think the Red Sox are all of a sudden going to pony up for Raffy who will be even more expensive?
  12. Maybe I’m late to the party on this, but I’m finding out that Yoshida is a Boris guy, and the fact that the signing happened so fast that Boris never does tells me Boris didn’t think he could get more money than this, and scooped up this deal real quick, and took the Red Sox to the cleaners along the way.
  13. Whatever Raffy ends up getting you know the Red Sox will not end up being the one paying it.
  14. That’s why I said the $100M man that the Red Sox paid more for than what they offered Bogey last offseason.
  15. Predictions are garbage. How did all the Red Sox batting predictions come out this past year? Worthless piece of technology, or anything else
  16. I think Blooms legacy was formed in the nerd room at Tampa with all his analytics sheets, which is where he should have stayed, and not out front as the main man trying to wheel, and deal.
  17. I think JH needs to make another appearance on the F&M show, and explain how Bogey who the Red Sox wanted back so bad that they only offered a one yr extension last off season. I don’t want to see anymore of the Kennedy, and Bloom comedy act anymore.
  18. They had better hope the $100M Man From Japan works out, or they’ll look even worse.
  19. A Dummy BOTCHER at that.
  20. Bloom, and Henry are both to blame. Failures the both of them. Bloom made the 1 yr offer. I repeat Bloom made the 1 year offer, and how incompetent did he look making it, and if that wasn’t bad enough he carried that charade right to the end with that dumb, dumbfounded look on his face at the airport in San Diego. What a piece of work he is.
  21. BLOOM THE BOTCHER. Enough said.
  22. At least he met Lester out in the parking lot to say goodbye.
  23. If the Red Sox really wanted Bogey then the negotiations were BOTCHED from last offseason with that slap in the face offer. Yes we all know Henry writes the checks, but it was Bloom that made that ridiculous offer that some on here that it warranted a counter offer. What a joke on all points. On the other if the Red Sox were all spin, and grin, which I believe they were from the Mouth Kennedy, and Bloom they were downright liars. Like Kennedy said at last years year end they were all failures, and that sums it up the best, and that includes now. FAILURES, and Bogey deserved better from the Red Sox, and has done more for Boston in his time there than Bloom will ever do, or imagine.
  24. Agree 100%. That offer last offseason to me was even worse than the Lester offer. Bloom wasn’t around then, but JH sure was. Bloom made the offer this time around, and is either stupid, or thinks Boras is, and either way it comes out as Bloom being stupid, and incompetent. I’m not against The Red Sox even closely matching San Diego’s offer, but how they handled Bogey before that still brings to the same opinion I’ve had all along that Bloom is in over his head.
