  1. Childish, bitching, bashing, and narrow minded, and all in one’s nights work.Bloom brings out the best in all of us.
  2. You are the one calling it bashing, but to me it’s criticizing what I see, and the results, because of it, and that I admit to.
  3. Saying the Red Sox are sitting at the kiddie table, because of being in last place is bad? Embarrassing maybe, but so is last place.
  4. Honestly I would rather not have any reasons to not be a basher at all.
  5. The kiddie table has been used for sometime now. No one has said either that the Red Sox are as bad as their record, but for the 100 time the WL record is what counts. Last year the team probably wasn’t as good as their record indicated, but once again the WL record is what counts, and it works both ways.
  6. Resort to the old name calling, which I’m not going to stoop to do. I don’t mind at all being called a Bloom Basher, because there are plenty of reasons to do so. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs?
  7. I’ve never said strength of schedule does not factor in anyones record, but the bottom line is that ALL the other teams in the ALE this ear had a winning record, and the Red Sox did not, so the way I see it is you have two options, which are either get better, or not, and continue to sit at the kiddie table with a losing record attached to you.
  8. Bloom Bashers who bitched! Wow! How much more original can you get?
  9. What were the poor management choices in 67, 75, 78, and 86 that had JH would have been the Owner they wouldn’t have happened?
  10. The ALE has never been as tough as it is now? I remember one year years ago that the 5th place team in the ALE had a better record than some other division winner back when the Brewers were in the ALE, and had good teams, and like it was mentioned all the other teams in the division had a winning record, so if the Red Sox want to compete they will just have to suck it up, and get better. If not they will stay at the kiddie table.
  11. Every time you keep saying how many holes there are to fill the number gets bigger. Isn’t that what Bloom gets paid the big bucks for to fix things?
  12. And all this time I thought injuries, and underperforming of players got us to where we are right now. That to me is a lot bigger reason than blaming DD for trading away prospects, and the exaggeration of wiping out the farm.
  13. I know where we are a losing last place in the division team. A division that we have been in for many years now.I have been a Red Sox fan longer than you. I have also said that JH has been a good owner, but where we differ is that to me the Red Sox didn’t win any rings for many many years had more to do with circumstances on the field than if JH was the owner, or not in all those years. I go one year at a time, and judge them for what they are good, or bad, and that works for me. To say we’re in 10th place in the league is not good no matter how you slice it, and dice it.
  14. Good! I call Bloom, and tell him he’s on notice, and his job is on the line.
  15. Nor does how many rings the Red Sox have won under JH make it alright for all the last place finishes.
  16. Poor, poor Bloom! What did he sign up for?
  17. Would a repeat of 2022 make it bad enough?
  18. Like I keep saying a ring in 2021 would not make it right to be a losing last place in the division team in 2022.
  19. But when the WL record isn’t good the defense team has to go to something else to try to make things out to be better than they really are.
  20. Ah those bad, bad Bloom-Bashers. I know your all exited about this new catching tandem, but they are just two backups to me. Just, because we have them under control for a number of years doesn’t mean they are that good. WL record is all that matters. You always try to make it the hits will offset the misses, but only works if that results in a winning team no matter what league, or division the Red Sox might play in. Works for some, but not for others.
  21. And not signed Schwarber?
  22. Over exaggerated again, because I never said Bloom was a Bum. I was talking more about patting on the back more for the losing record, and last place in the division finish that was costing $200+M. True that DD signed Sale, JD, and Evol, but Bloom has had 3 years to work on something, so that all these expiring contracts didn’t come due at once, and that includes Bogey, and yet they pretty much are just going to run out, and not getting much back to show for it.Not very creative, or ingenious to me.
  23. Ah the old blame DD. Of course Bloom hasn’t done much in his 3 yrs on the job to rectify the situation except trading Mookie. Now I guess the big plan is to let some of the expiring contracts just run out. Ingenious!
  24. Well done, and don’t forget that Bloom is still looking for that third option at the fork in the road. Stay tuned to see if he finds it.
