  1. The Phillies gave DD a 3 year contract extension that will take him through 2027. Good move for DD, and the Phillies.
  2. If it turns out as expected, and the Red Sox are to cheap to pay Bogey I don’t think they will spend even more money to sign Correa.
  3. Well said. Whitlock, and Bello have shown promise, but nothing else, and Sale, and Pax have shown they can pitch in the past, but in recent years not so much, and recently not a healthy body between them.
  4. I don’t expect Bogey, and Bloom will be breaking bread over Thanksgiving either like Theo, and Schill did.
  5. I don’t, but I think the Red Sox have.
  6. Let’s go get Bellinger to play CF, and then bring Renfroe back to play RF, and Dugy can go back to LF. Sounds like a plan to me, and the Red Sox love reclamation projects.
  7. Will tender the Bra Man, and Josh Taylor.
  8. Bloom to JH But Mr. Henry you made me trade our best player, and I tried to get a big haul back for him, but it just didn’t work out as good as I thought. I thought Jeter was another Jeter, and this one just can’t hit AAA pitching for 2 years now, and Mr. Wong may just not be any better than a low level back up catcher. Mr. Henry you never gave me a very big allowance, and I have to do most of my shopping at lawn sales, and bargain basements. It’s also not my fault Mr.Henry that the team has been a losing-last place team two of my 3 years on the job, but we’ve been rebuilding, and hanging off a cliff, but don’t worry Mr. Henry I haven’t told our future HOF homegrown superstars Mookie, Raffy, and Bogey that’s what was going on, because I didn’t want them to think we were wasting away some of their prime years while that was going on. Also Mr. Henry I know you are mad that I went over that bad tax line this year, and we didn’t quite make the post season this year, and also didn’t get us to a winning record either, but whoa wis me Mr. Henry, and give me one more chance, and I’ll try, and do better, so you will like me, and those bad, bad media like Mr. Shaugnessy won’t be on me all the time, and say all those bad things about me. It wasn’t like that back in Tampa where everyone was nice to me. To be continued.
  9. As we have discussed many times over too the lowball contract offers to Lester, and Bogey they didn’t warrant a counter offer, and, because the offers were so low Red Sox management were to blame, and were blamed rightly so.
  10. The point was that having Bogey, Raffy, and Mookie in the primes of their careers, and add in JD who was still productive to being any part of a rebuild, or on any kind of a cliff would have just a big waste to me. You are only in your prime for so long a time, and you have to make hay while the sun still continues to shine.
  11. If Bogey, Raffy, or JD, and co. Only thought they were only on a cliff any of these past few years they probably would have jumped.
  12. I’ve heard of kinds of talk about cliffs, and rebuilds on here, but not from the Red Sox Brass. When the Red Sox have had players like JD, Raffy, Bogey, Vaz, Evol, and others is that what you do a rebuild with. You’ve had Bogey, and Raffy in their prime years, and before this year JD had been productive too. It just seems like a big waste to me to have wasted prime years from the likes of Bogey, and Raffy to do any kind of rebuilds if that’s what it was.
  13. Scared off the site? After all we’ve been through, and you think I’d walk out on you guys? When Bloom does something noteworthy good, or bad I’ll give my fair, and balanced opinion as always.
  14. Thanks for asking, but it’s not whale season anymore.
  15. You guys can analyze things the way you want to, and I’ll analyze things the way I want to. I know you think your way is right for you, and my way is right for me, and all of this has been said many times over much to your chagrin. You guys like playing amateur GM’s, and I don’t, and I have said many times I’m not paid to do Bloom’s job for him rather you like it, or not, and I could care less if m distractors are shut up, or not. As for cancer I know all about that as I have cancer in my family right now, so thanks for asking. Getting all riled up over a talk forum, which is another form of a talk show is going way overboard especially when you talk about cancer, and mental institutions.
  16. First of all thanks for all the kind words the fact that you have made such an effort it has brightened my day, which will last for days on end. Dude Kike is a career 239 hitter, and is no superstar. Your opinion was that he was good in 2021, and yes he plays a good CF, and had a hot streak in the postseason, but once again he is no superstar. The Kike subject is another subject that has been recycled over, and over. Once again your kind words are well appreciated. S A L U T E!
  17. The BP is already weaker without Whitlock, and like I said before I can’t believe Kike is the only option out there, but that would be Bloom’s job to find out. Swing a trade for a starter even if Evol is still resigned? The bullpen also more than 2 reliable arms.
  18. Come on now everyone knows you can’t guarantee anyone to be good, or great next year. I just didn’t think was a great way to work on the 2023 roster by signing Kike.
  19. I would rather get better myself like a winning record, and a trip to the postseason.
  20. That is a big if, and he sucked before, and after he was injured this past year. If he performs the same as 2022 how does he make them better? Shoulda, woulda, and coulda is not a way to go for me. I guess for you it is.
  21. I was told earlier that the Red Sox couldn’t do better than Kike for $10M, and now the Red Sox have to do no better, and settle for Evol. Neither move to me is is a move trying to get the Red Sox better.
  22. Ignoring, and snoring.
  23. It’s always that someone else doesn’t get it when they deal with you. Amazing! Once again comparing a typing error with a error in judgement. By your flawed logic if I said I would not resign Bogey, or Raffy then that would mean I hate Bogey, and Raffy. That is how flawed your logic is. Flawed to the ist degree, and then some.Wow! This whole thing was about you comparing a typing error with an error in judgement, and you are trying to make it into something different. Let’s just stick to Red Sox talk.
  24. Exactly, and that’s why I put Raffy making more money in less years.
  25. Good points, but I would for the LAST time say I’m against giving out any 10 yr contracts.
