  1. It’s getting harder for me to listen to OB, and his cast of merry men.
  2. Agree with this, and it will be interesting to see how ticket sales are before the season starts.
  3. Bingo! Some are satisfied with the four championships the Red Sox have won since JH took over, and so am I, but like I keep saying all the last place finishes are not all right, and to me should not happen with a payroll that the Red Sox, have, and had.
  4. All I said was the Red Sox had the lowest attendance in 2022 since Henry took over, and that’s a loss of money to Henry, and I think last year’s performance on the field had something to do with that. That’s it.
  5. Do you think Red Sox attendance dropping last year was, because the Red Sox were so much fun to watch. What’s not to like when you could see Franchy Strangeglove try to play 1B, or Duran, Duran The Butterfly Man try to play CF, or Arroyo try to play RF. Not even mentioning they were a losing team to boot, so I would say Bloom had his hands all over the drop in attendance.
  6. I’m sure all the returning players in the clubhouse are just thrilled Bogey won’t be there anymore, and how he was treated going out the door especially Raffy. Bogey was the leader in the clubhouse, and outside of the clubhouse even when Mookie was there, so his leadership was still there last summer. What we do know about last summer, and the one thing that Sam Kennedy got right was that himself, Cora, and Bloom ALL FAILED last summer.
  7. Worst attendance since JH took over in a non Covid year. I didn’t say what place in attendance they finished, but it was a drop, and a drop is $$$.
  8. We don’t know if Mayer will ever be ready, or as good as his hype, and of course Bogey would have a no trade anyways, so it wouldn’t be that simple.
  9. Of course to some it just has to be the Red Sox didn’t think Bogey was worth any kind of contract, and if they keep saying it enough it will be true, but I think it’s quite possible, and more likely than not that Bloom just didn’t read the room right, and BOTCHED the whole thing, and I think that dumb, dumbfounded look on Blooms face says it all.
  10. I don’t think JH standards are a losing, last place in the Div team, and a drop in attendance, so that script has to change.
  11. Some keep saying that the Red Sox Brass didn’t think Bogey was worth the money, and I disagree 100%. He wasn’t worth $280M, or 11 years, but he was worth 6-7 yrs $150M-$200M, which should have been offered to him last off season, but I just don’t think the Red Sox the money would get anywhere near where it got to, and just BOTCHED the whole thing, and I blame Bloom mostly for that, because I’m guessing JH was getting his info from Bloom. Bogeys tangibles to Boston, which doesn’t show up on any analytics sheet was worth $90M in itself. Plain, and simple Bloom botched this from day 1 that he’s had three years to work on.
  12. At least I didn’t believe like you did that the Bogey camp should have countered the Red Sox generous offer last offseason. It was laughable then, and if possible even more laughable now. I suppose the Red Sox should have countered the last San Diego offer too. Wow!
  13. After the Bogey spin, and grin is anyone going to believe anything they say anymore?
  14. Bloom The Rapper! My name is Chaim, and I have no shame in Botching up the game. My last names Bloom, and I bring Gloom, and Doom. Some say it’s all not so much funny But don’t blame me I’m just Henry’s Dummy.
  15. I agree, but do they trade Raffy like they did with Mookie?
  16. And now we wait for chapter 3, and the Devers saga on what kind of storyline will be drummed up there.
  17. I said that the day the offer was made, and all Kennedy, and Bloom were doing was spinning, and grinning this offseason, and either thought the fans were blind, and dumb for not seeing through the charade, or Kennedy, and Bloom was that dumb themselves. The hard part was to determine if that dumb dumbfounded look on Bloom’s face was actually acting, or not.
  18. Imagine what Bogey would have been offered if they hadn’t wanted him back so bad? I believe 100% in that reported offer. Bogey, laughed, cried, and then he got pissed.
  19. How did you get from Glove over bats got you JBJ last year that you praised, and how did that work out get you to where you got? Once again NOBODY SAID it failed once so it always will, but that’s where you chose to take it, and then you call it a personal attack. I said JBJ didn’t work out, but never said, because of that it never would. That’s where you took it, so get mad all you want, and take your toys, and go home. Say goodnight Dick.
  20. For winning WS yes, but where we differ is you think it has more to do with the nerds, and analytics, and I just think the players had more to do with it, and it was just time, and things worked out like coming back being down 3-0 to the Yankees. I think that was more players than anything else.
  21. Right the Red Sox are going to sign Correa for more money than Bogey got, and then pony up, and sign Raffy too.If, if, and if, but not very logical.
  22. Two post up says the JBJ trade that you praised didn’t work out meaning that gloves over bats doesn’t always pan out, and nothing else. Over your head a little was it?
  23. The Red Sox had a lot of good teams through the years with a lot of great players, but didn’t win the big one, but I don’t think you could call it a big turnaround when they did win. Lots of great teams when they didn’t win like the A’s run, and the Big Red Machine, but you can look at it how you want, and I’ll do the same. Speaking for everyone now are we?
  24. Where did anyone say defense is unimportant? NOBODY! You praised the JBJ trade last year, and made all kinds of excuses why he didn’t hit in Milwaukee, and that’s what I was commenting on. Boy was you wrong on that one, but don’t worry you wasn’t alone, because Bloom was right there with you.
  25. That’s all well, and good if you need it, but I just don’t need it. Bloom should have stayed in one of those rooms instead of coming out, and trying to be a front man.
