  1. When lots of posters on here kept asking who was the Red Sox were going to sign to play SS after Bogey left I kept saying Story was going to be the SS, and that was going to be the plan until he game up lame throwing in the offseason to getting ready to play SS. I get it that Story is a good 2B, but I believe the plan all along when Story got signed was to play 2B for 1 year, and then take over SS for a few years until Mayer was ready. It wasn’t really that hard to come to that conclusion no matter how good Story looked at 2B.
  2. Story may be very good at 2B, but he was signed to be a SS even though he had a bad arm in Colorado.
  3. I get that point, and I would get rid of divisions altogether, but the Red Sox have played in the same division since divisions were created, and when they have been good enough they have made the postseason, and beyond, so all of this gee if we were in a different division we would have a better record, and a better standing is just sour grapes. Get good enough, and it doesn’t matter what division you are in, and what the schedule is. I would rather play the Yankees 25 games a season compared to 19, or 13 myself, and let the chips fall where they may.
  4. Tampa in town for 4 this weekend, and then the next 2 weekends after that against the Yankees. The Red Sox have played the least amount of Div games in the Div so far. I know some on here likes the new schedule playing less games in the Div, but I liked the old schedule. If you are good enough you will beat the Div teams, and if you aren’t you won’t, and I just think Div games bring a little more excitement to the mix.
  5. Glad I got some tickets a long time ago for that June 6th game, which will be his first in Portland.
  6. You mean there is something else going on in Boston outside of the Celtics? What a game, and what a finish last night! Down 3-0 in the series, and now tied 3-3 with h game 7 in Boston Monday night. If the Celtics win it will be the only time in history any team has come back, and won a series being down 0-3. LETS GO CELTICS!
  7. Wacha probably thought he was signing with a better team, but it doesn’t look like it so far this season.
  8. If, and when Story does come back this season it will be at SS according to Cora.
  9. Another good outing today by Wacha at the stadium. 7 IP/5 H/ 2 ER.
  10. I think the cold weather early in the season took away his pregame sun bathing that sapped his hitting powers.
  11. One thing I’ve been saying is that Casas has to swing the bat first, and take a walk second, because he has taken to many called third strikes. I did like that he hit a 3-0 pitch last night.
  12. Was that not a good pitcher the Red Sox faced last night? Have the Red Sox faced any good pitching on this trip. Wacha may be the best. Snell used to be good, and Anderson was good last year, and that’s about it. I’m just saying I’m just not getting all giddy over last night against a real Bad pitcher. If others want to fine. I have to see more.
  13. Let’s not get to carried away from last night for Casas, or the rest of the team. That was a batting practice pitcher Arizona threw out there. Stats, and eye test confirm that. He even makes Kluber not look so bad.
  14. Duvall starts rehab in Worcester on Tuesday.
  15. And the price tag.
  16. I agree his stats are second to none, but that where it starts, and ends.
  17. Take some aspirin! Wow!
  18. Wow! How many times have we heard you will try harder when you get into it with someone. There is, and never have been enough cheese to go along with your constant whine. You are the perfect example of more is not better, and being already having the most words posted on here, and soon taking over being the all time post leader you have had more whiffs, and striking out, so at least you are good at that. Some people have the gift of gab, and you think you are the master of the keyboard, but what you have is a curse, and not a gift. Like I’ve said before you are like the Great Oz that when you pull the curtain back you are Nothing like you think you are, or appear to be. You think it is your duty on here to analyze every word of every sentence, and then comment on your analysis right, or wrong, and you are wrong more times than not. It all started with me early on for me when you said I Hated Cora just, because I said I wouldn’t have hired him back, because of his cheating scandal, and same it’s gone downhill ever since, and you’ve been wrong many times since too. Wash, rinse repeat, and Mr Wrong, MR Wrong they’re playing your song. I ll give you the same advice you gave me. Take your talent, or lack of to another team, and spread the hate, and discontent around the league. If you were right half the time as the Stork is you still wouldn’t be very good.
  19. Thanks for the shoutout! Seems to me you told me before that you have put Moon on ignore in the past, so sounds like you two have been going at it for a long time now. You said something about being a loser when I went at it with Moon, so if the shoe fits then wear it proudly, because you’ve been doing it a lot longer than me. The worst part was thought you had Poor Bell all upset, because Grammy, and Gramp were fighting. Have some consideration if nothing else.
  20. Like to give the broom, and like to get the broom so far this year, which adds up to a mediocre team.
  21. Has there actually been a Mondesi sighting since the Red Sox signed him?
  22. If Duran goes back to his old self, and Kike just stays his normal self, and if Story comes back to SS, and Duvall comes back to CF Kike could just be odd man out, and a back up utility guy. Who’s Mondesi?
  23. So signing Kluber over Wacha was improving the team? Resigning Kike improved the team? No, and no.
  24. That is happening according to the Sea Dogs manager. They want him to take more pitches, and be more selective. Those talk shows come in handy sometimes, because they interview the Sea Dogs manger weekly.
  25. I’m talking about now.
