Who was he going to bring in when Kluber got taken out in the 4th? Who’s the long man? Bra Man, or Ort are not a long man. That would have been a spot for Houck, or Whitlock who I still believe should be in the BP. I understand that Houck is only starting, because of Bello, and Whitlock being out. I agree Brasier, and Ort shouldn’t even be on the 40 let alone the 26, and that’s all on Bloom. -

But things are going to be AWESOME. Some have bought into what Bloom is cooking up, but ALOT has not.

Who is giving up?Most of the arms that threw yesterday are minor league, and the fact that a few namely Ort, and the Bra Man, and maybe Kelley shouldn’t even still be on the team gives very few any reason for hope.

The arms the Red Sox threw out there yesterday are pretty much minor league for the most part. I hope Sale enjoyed his day off yesterday, and now feels more comfortable to pitch.

I agree with you. I’ve been saying since the Red Sox got him last year that he was nothing more than a backup C, and not any step up from Vaz except for being cheaper, and getting rid of Streakman. This was nowhere near any coup for Bloom, or the Red Sox.

While I’m not into that CERA stuff I don’t think it would have mattered if Tek, or Fisk would have been catching what the Red Sox threw out there yesterday for arms.

Seriously of course they can. Someone asked recently how many OF the Sox would keep to start the season, and you said 4. That was obviously WRONG.

Oh I agree with you to an extent, but I knew Moon’s eyes would bug out when he saw someone say they didn’t think Kike wasn’t as great on D in CF as he does.

Aren’t we already on plan B? The original idea I believe was for Story to be the SS this year.

I believe they have to keep him on the 26 for at least 90 days even if on the IL, or something like that.

Mondesi was just signed as an insurance policy, and a plan C, or D.

I agree, and as bad as I have trashed Bloom I don’t want to see the Red Sox suck again this year, and not make the playoffs. I’ve even gotten over Bogey being gone. Not the way it was handled, but him being gone.

Turner did not play full time at any position last year, and Casas was hurt last year, and didn’t play a full season. Kike has never been anything close to a full time SS before, and Duvall has never been a full time CF before, and Dugy has not been a full time RF not to mention a C who hasn’t been full time either.
