Wow! Jared Carrabis said it best in just a FEW words. It used to be that the Red Sox, and Yankee fan bases would say the other team sucks, but now the fan bases are saying their own team sucks. Oh the mighty have fallen. It may have been three close games to watch this WE, but not good baseball at all. Seems kind of watered down to me.

I know Mayer has been crowned the next great thing already, and if he is great, but we don’t even know yet if someone picked after Mayer like Cowser doesn’t turn out to be a better player now do we? Yorke, and Drohan are still suspects at this point, and I haven’t seen them in a Red Sox uniform yet producing. A hood one? He hasn’t even gotten to AAA yet, and is struggling somewhat at Portland, and yes I got a first hand look his first game there, but if, and when he shows up in Boston, and produces I’ll applaud the move. What is sad is the more you try to make aBloom look better than he is you actually do the opposite.

Keep an eye on Colton Cowser drafted 1 spot after Mayer by Baltimore who’s slashing 8-31-336, and 1048 OPS in AAA.

Well if you put it that way, but all Bloom did was take the BPA, which I think surprised a lot of people that 3 teams passed on Mayer.

Now Bloom is getting assaulted, and just not bashed. Nothing like being over dramatic. Bloom gets no credit for Mayer I agree.

I don’t think Houck, or the Kut Man will stick either, but I have come around on Whitlock staying in the rotation. With that change up he’s a better pitcher.

As one local sports writer told me once if the Red Sox trade Betts it will be the worst move since Babe Ruth. The Betts trade will be discussed for years to come, and certainly debated if it was the right move, or not.

Just because a player does get replaced RIGHT AWAY doesn’t mean it’s never going to happen? Wow! What analysis, or should I say the lack of. Let’s just throw another season down the drain,and charge more money to watch it. Kike to Nurse Rachett (Bloom). But YOU PROMISED we’d get better this year. What a crock of BS.

4 years of Bloom has been 4 years to many as it is.

The hitting has been weak, but when Kluber came in the Sox were only down 1 run, so I agree.

The 2020 title may be tainted, but the Red Sox, and Red Sox fans would have been glad to have taken it. Another losing last place finish this year, and to me Bloom Should Not be around anymore to change anything.

A few days ago it was get a win to stay 2 games above 500, or go back to 500, but now it’s win a game to stay at 500, or go 2 games under 500.
