  1. Chapman, and Story would have 300-400 K’s between them.
  2. It’s not that he’s bad, and he’s an excellent 3B, which would give the L side of the infield some excellent D., but he’s not that good a hitter, and he wouldn’t come all that cheap. Money should go to starting pitching above everything else.
  3. If you listen to all the people that I hear, and talk to it’s 1201, and counting.
  4. Burn out? Sooner, or later I don’t know if people are going to keep paying the High ticket prices that are going up again to go on the rollercoaster.
  5. I don’t think you can look too much into that. Lots of people go to Fenway for the experience of Fenway Park itself, and not so much the product on the field, and it’s been that way for years. 19,000+ showed up in Tampa last night to watch the Rays. The lowest attendance since the 1919 WS.
  6. Are they better options than Duvall?
  7. Yea it must of been your trade deadline grade that clinched for JH. I haven’t heard it anywhere else that Cora played a big part in getting Bloom fired, and yes by me saying it doesn’t make it true. We know Cora had a meeting with John Henry, and Tom Werner, and Cora told them he wasn’t ready to be GM. Did they offer him the job? Possibly, or possibly not. We know Cora is going to be the manager next year, and we know Cora is going to have a hand in picking the next GM. Now I don’t know what that means to you, but to me I’d it sounds like Cora is JH right hand man, and it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities that Cora had something to do with getting Bloom fired. To me that’s more plausible than have a twisted mind, and idea by saying it.
  8. The hilarious part is you’re worried more about me celebrating that Bloom got fired than you are Cora, and I still say Cora had a big hand in getting him fired. Thee cheers for Alex. Hip Hip Horay, Hip Hip Horay, Hip Hip Horay!👍👍👍
  9. I know it’s hard to believe that there is someone out there who wanted Bloom gone more than me, but I think theirs is, and that is Cora. I’m thinking since Cora is JH right hand man now that he also had something to do with Bloom getting the boot. If he did I would definitely make an exception, and wave the Pom Poms on that one.
  10. And I’ll say the same thing I said last time you said that. The Red Sox did not win in 1967 , 1975, 1978, or 1986, because JH wasn’t the owner.
  11. How did I get what I wanted? Are the Red Sox still playing?
  12. OK the here, and now the 2023 season , which was a last place finish. UNACCEPTABLE!
  13. I watched 100+ games this year, which was more than enough to know what went on.
  14. Yes let’s pay a BROKEN down Trout 7 more years at $35M+.
  15. No one said that on here, or anywhere else. The main point is finishing last is unacceptable. You may enjoy it, but I don’t think most do.
  16. Most likely a step down on offense, and very risky to start all 3 of these. Raf Man has to prove he can hit big league pitching first no matter how good he is on D. Still not sold on Duran either, and had come back down to earth before he got hurt.
  17. I don’t care if they had won 6 rings in those other 6 years they didn’t finish in last place. 6 last place finishes would still be unacceptable.🙈
  18. You focus to much on how many games I watched, which is more than you think, but did your eye test in all the games you watched tell you anything different? That’s all I’ve heard pretty much all year long on how bad Yoshida, and Raffy were in the field. I thought that was the going theme. If not I’d hate to think what was.
  19. It’s everywhere! It’s everywhere! Except on here.🤭
  20. 3 out the last 4 years the Red Sox have been a losing last place in the Div team, and for the 4th year in a row the Red Sox will raise ticket prices. What a deal!
  21. Cora back with the Red Sox, and Boone will be back with the Yankees. I would say both have good connections to the big boys up top.
  22. I agree with what you are saying to a point, but Cora has worked his way up to be JH right hand man. He gets to stay, and even gets to help pick out the next GM type.
  23. That was the point did the Red Sox have a leader this year?
  24. By the way Cora did specify at the year end press conference that Raffy would be the 3B next year. Gee I hope his D gets better.
