  1. Do you think Cora was offered a move upstairs?
  2. There is an article on NESN. Red Sox Rumors: Red Sox fire two coaches. That is a fact. At the end of the article presently there are 24 comments, and most of them are against Cora. That’s a fact, and you can read it all for yourself. I know it’s hard to fathom on here that not everyone out there thinks as highly of Cora as most do on here. Like yours, and mine they are all opinions, which once again you don’t like. 700 calls Cora a cheater all the time on here, and yes some others out there view him that way as well. Call everyone out there who feels the same way a hater all you want. Just, because Cora won in 2018 I believe he is way overrated on here especially. Heck John Farrell won too. Like I’ve said the views on here are nowhere near as mixed as they are out there on Cora, or even Bloom for that matter, and you can write columns after columns, and that’s not changing anything. Thankfully everyone has an opinion, and everyone is entitled to that opinion like it, or not.
  3. Well no one has to worry about Cora begging JH to let Bloom stay. No it was not Cora’s call to fire Bloom, but I just think he had a lot more to do with it than YOU think. Especially when it happened. I read an article on NESN, and at the end there were comments, and one of those comments said they could not believe how Cora has almost everyone eating out of his hands management, and fans alike, and I kind of agree. The comments on Cora were a lot more mixed than what they are on here. I still remember the comments of a well known poster on here a few years ago when they said we’ve got Cora, and we’ve got Bloom. Like that was supposed to give the Red Sox some kind of competitive edge, or something. How did that work out?
  4. Maybe if Story had brought his bat to some of those games, and actually used it the Red Sox might have won more games. Story Land was closed most of the time.
  5. You can think what you want, but if you don’t think Cora had a hand, and a voice in getting Bloom fired I don’t think you got picked off base, but didn’t even get on base to begin with. 🙈
  6. Cora is now JH’s right hand man, and is in charge enough to get Bloom fired.😀
  7. Especially not the way things are now. Was Cora offered the job when he met with Tom, and JH? Why else would he tell them he wasn’t ready? Now Sam says they are going to do this big extensive search. Very suspect to me, or very curious as the Globe said.
  8. It won’t be a make believe person, but will it be someone who is really in charge?
  9. I think a clean housecleaning should be in order with a real person in charge who can pick all their own staff including the manager.
  10. Red Sox SS were 27 in OPS this past year for you OPS people. Story didn’t help much there. Bogey didn’t have a great season either, but he was 7th in OPS.
  11. I agree, and someone else will be named to dot the I, and cross the t’s.
  12. Kennedy was asked about that more than once at the year end press conference, and Kennedy lined of hemmed, and hawed at the answer.
  13. Along with Bush wearing out a path to the mound Tek wrote volumes in his notebook. I didn’t see that either one helped.
  14. Cora’s in charge now, so I don’t think he’ll fire himself.
  15. Well said. To me the older you get the less patience you have.
  16. Cora cleaning house. First Bloom, and now the coaches.
  17. The foundation built was built by DD, and Bloom.
  18. There is plenty of blame to go around from Henry on down to the players.
  19. The guy ran a marathon to the mound this year. He just couldn’t turn Bear Claw around.
  20. Raffy was the last man standing, and luckily for the Red Sox Boris is not Raffy’s agent, or Raffy would be a FA today, and resigning with the Red Sox would most likely still be up for grabs.
  21. I guess Mookie didn’t want any part of the AWESOME speech.
  22. Most likely trade him. The word out there was DD had a trade worked out with the Dodgers for Mookie during the 2019 season, but backed out of it.
  23. Well said, and agree 100%.👍👍👍
  24. Notre Dame for some reason has had trouble developing QB lately, and has had to get a transfer 2 out of the last 3 years. Buchner wasn’t that good either.
  25. Everyone knows he was 20 years old. You guys all seemed so perplexed that he was struggling in AA, and I was not. He was struggling, and that’s a fact, and to me it’s no big deal. He’s not coming to Boston anytime soon.
