  1. No! They showed the whole act over, and over, and over again.
  2. That’s why I was trying to get some clarification. Don’t you have something important to do like the Wildcard Standings update that you do so well?
  3. Did I not hear right when Bloom was doing his Awesome speech during the booing at the meet, and greet this past offseason. Did Bloom say when he took over the club the club the club was getting older, and would be going over a cliff, or did he say since I took over I’m going to take the Red Sox over a cliff?
  4. If you wasn’t actually watching how would you know what happened on the bunt? If you wasn’t watching how would you know what happened on the bad throw to 2B by the pitcher? If you wasn’t watching how would you you know how Raffy played at 3B last night? Seems to me this analytics isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
  5. I’m waiting for the analytics to come out to see if we agree. Let me know when it does.
  6. This is all well, and good, but it doesn’t change the fact that Beny was good enough to make THE CATCH in the 2018 ALCS, and that’s all I said. You have tried to make it more than that.
  7. Good one! I hadn’t thought of that, but I would say that qualifies. I heard the same cry last year too.
  8. The Red Sox have been in the same division since divisions came in play. When they’ve been good enough they’ve got into postseason, and when they haven’t been good enough they have sat home, and watched. To be the best you have to beat the best. Changing divisions just to have a better chance at advancing sounds like a loser to me.
  9. He has turned it around with the bat before, but he’s getting more exposed in the OF. Not to graceful leaping at the wall the other night, or going after the ball that got stuck in the light. To me bringing JT back is a must, so they could be stuck with him in the OF for awhile.
  10. Everyone was all excited even the players after sweeping the listless, hapless Yankees, but it was, and is the same team that lost 2 out of 3 to Washington. The Yankees at this point are actually worse than the Red Sox were last year.
  11. If I had watched the game i wouldn’t have had to watch the highlights, but it still would have showed me the same thing. It’s not worth conversing, because your analytics don’t come into play here, so why get into the conversation at all.
  12. I never said it was difficult. It all started when I said that Beny was good enough to make it, and them some took it to a who different discussion from there. Coincidentally OB talked about it during the broadcast last night.
  13. Wow! Calling Yoshida a bust already if he doesn’t turn things around? I haven’t even gone that far.
  14. The point being what did analytics tell you about those plays?
  15. But what made it THE CATCH was the moment it was done in, and that is not done almost nightly.
  16. What did analytics tell you about the bunt last night that scored a runner from 2B? What did the eye test tell you?
  17. What did the eye test tell you how Raffy did at 3B last night? Or do you need analytics to tell you? It’s very telling from the highlights I saw.
  18. No to me it would be the other way around if you were actually watching what happened, and still needed more. The point is, and was he was good enough to make a famous catch in Red Sox history. Why try to make it more than that?
  19. Just from reading the game thread from last night I can really see the sky has fallen. The Red Sox hitting coach is bad, the defensive coach is bad, the base running coach is bad, most of the players suck especially that head case at 3B, and Bloom, and Cora should both be fired. Did I miss anything?
  20. Did I hear right the OB called the catch arguably the greatest catch in Red Sox history last night during the game? That’s all I said that he was GOOD ENOUGH to do that. Good for Jeter.
  21. Good enough to make THE CATCH.
  22. You do not know what Cora meant when he made those comments, or who it was directed at, so to say I took it out of context could be 100% wrong, and I may be right in my interpretation. Unlike you I’m not saying you are wrong, but I’m not saying you are right either. I have heard others have the same interpretation I have unlike the interpretation that you have.
  23. He was good enough though to make that memorable catch in the 2018 ALCS in Houston.
  24. You mean like Mookie, JBJ, and Beny?
  25. Now this makes no sense. The debate has been about Cora’s comments on the prospects, farm ranking, and playing in October, and what he meant. I also believe the comments were directed to Bloom, and telling him the team need help now.
