  1. Therefore we disagree.
  2. Word count maybe, but I’m not the one who had a problem with some little poll that you don’t agree with the other answers, or opinion that is different from yours. It’s just a little poll that in the big scheme of things doesn’t really matter one way, or the other. It’s not going to change anything no matter how the vote went just like any poll on here.
  3. I don’t know if other adventures affects the Red Sox payroll, or not, but I take it they all have their separate pools of money, but I don’t know that for sure. Like I keep asking does JH have a lot more other adventures, or interests going on today than when he bought the Red Sox. The fact is he does, and all I’m saying is that with all these other adventures JH just doesn’t have as much interest in the Red Sox as he used to. The PGA adventure was just brought up a couple days ago both on radio, and TV, and it had the same opinion as I do as more outside interests, and with more outside interests going on its less interest in the Red Sox.
  4. I would rather have LL there.
  5. I would rather have LL there.
  6. Bringing up the PGA is JH latest adventure, so it’s pretty self explanatory. Latest adventure that JH now has going going of the many adventures that JH has going since he bought the Red Sox that for some reason you don’t think matters, and can’t see why JH just might not have the same interest in the Red Sox that he once had. It’s been brought up many times, and was was just the other day when the PGA thing came up, but I guess you just don’t venture out to the same outlets that I do, and if you did you would have heard it many times from many different people.
  7. I’m not the one being bothered, and going on, and on over someone mentioning a poll. I just happened to be the guilty party by mentioning it.
  8. Who are the Red Sox going to bring to the meeting to close the deal outside of Sam of course? Papi? Pedro? Yoshida?
  9. Once again why does a little poll that was done on tv that you wasn’t even involved in bother you so much? I wasn’t involved either, but I thought it was interesting of the different opinions. Sure you can disagree with those who didn’t vote the way that you would have just like they could disagree with you. It’s not that complicated, and no the poll was not all one way, nor would i expect it to be. Usually polls don’t end in a tie, and there is going to be a majority, and a minority. It doesn’t mean that any side is right, or any side was wrong. It’s just an opinion, and everyone has one like it, or not. I’m in the minority opinion more times than not on here, but it’s no big deal.
  10. Once again where does it say JH doesn’t care about the Red Sox? You are doing the reading into something that happens all the time on here, and running with it rather it’s the point, or not. Doesn’t have as much interest in the Red Sox, or having no interest at all are two different things. How many other adventures did JH have when he bought the Red Sox? How many other adventures does he have now? Is there not a difference? PGA is the latest adventure, so if you still think that JH has as much interest in the Red Sox as when he first bought the Red Sox that’s fine, and we just disagree, but it’s not something that should take up this much time, and effort. Nothing wrong at all with disagreeing. No harm. No foul.
  11. The little poll on I saw, and heard on TV seems for some reason to bother you so much, because it doesn’t match what your opinion would be. All I say is that most of what I hear outside of here rather it be tv, radio, newspaper, or in person pretty much does not match what I hear on here most of the time. I have said what I hear either at PF, or the bowling alley comes from different fan bases even Yankee fans, so I hear all kinds, and have said many times I like to hear as many opinions as I can get even from Mazz, or Shaugnessy that you guys go off on. Pretty funny.
  12. Who was talking about payroll? More different interest means just that, and the main priority to take down the evil empire just isn’t there anymore. Interest does not mean payroll, which you seem to be hung up on. Like I keep saying the PGA would be a new toy, and the Red Sox are his old toy. Disagree is fine, but at least know what we are disagreeing about.
  13. It was just one little poll that you guys are making such a big deal about. Run free, run wild with it.
  14. Nobody said anything about it not being a separate pool of money. I said he has a lot more interest now than he did before like the latest PGA adventure.
  15. Yes I’m sure JH would have given Bogey $280M if no CBT implications were there.
  16. I keep trying to get across that JH is not the same guy as when he bought the Red Sox, and has a lot more interest now. His latest is The PGA.
  17. Because they won’t compete money wise. The Red Sox got their prize in Yoshida where they outbid everyone else by a large margin so much so that Boris shut things down the first day, which had never been done before. The Red Sox will not outbid any of the big spenders for the Yam Man no matter how much you wish it come true.
  18. It’s amazing that you guys keep talking about spending in the past. What has changed is that the mountain has gotten a lot higher, and there are more people on it.
  19. The field has gotten a lot bigger, and the price has gotten a lot higher now than Anything the Red Sox have done in the past. The past has no revelation of what’s going on today.
  20. So out of the Dodgers, Mets, and Yankees, which one of those teams are the Red Sox going to outbid?
  21. Are you really comparing the Rangers to the Dodgers? The poll I heard was very clear, and the Red Sox did not win out. I wonder why.
  22. How has it changed the last two weeks? His asking price has gone up, and more than just a little.🙈
  23. He wasn’t that impressive when he was in a Yankee uniform either.
  24. E-Rod would have been the reasonable deal after the 2021 season when he was two years younger. I hope Bres isn’t looking for that third option in the fork in the road too. It could be a Yale thing.
