  1. More fans like me? Wow! I would say it’s the media that has a lot more to do with it than the fans when it comes to the players unlike Bloom who was a lightning Rod for fans, and media alike.
  2. Do you really think there wouldn’t be a long list? I like Freeman, but I just think there were many out there in football land, who would have been more qualified, and especially more experienced if the brain trust actually did some searching, and didn’t do a quick knee jerk hire when they were blindsided by Kelly. It’s not like ND hasn’t made some bad hires before. Faust, and Weis come to mind.
  3. Disagree that the atmosphere is a lot different from LA to Boston, and that more players who have played both players would say LA was more laid back. Of course it depends on who you are, and how well you play. What would Mookie say? What would Price say? If you do well Boston is a great place to play. I think JT enjoyed it in Boston this year, and he had a good year, but a good example is Kike, who went from folk hero one year to a punching bag this year. What have you done for me lately, and how you do means everything.
  4. No pressure out in laid back LA. Quite the different story in Boston.
  5. But what if the team gets better in 2026?🤭
  6. Air Force is flying high. Undefeated at 6-0, and in the top 25 at 22.
  7. I do too.
  8. How could I forget that one.
  9. Don’t forget Febles.
  10. All the turnovers last night made ND look better than they really are. It’s still the same team that barely lost to Ohio State, and also barely got by Duke, and was outplayed all night by Louisville. If your content with 8-4, 9-3 fine, but I’m not.
  11. That still doesn’t make him what should have been the top candidate for ND one way, or the other.
  12. Kike is not any fall guy for the season. Just a bad resigning to begin with, and one of the many things that went wrong. There could be plenty of fall guys from JH down to the players. Take your pick.
  13. Only Sam The Sham knows.
  14. I didn’t care for Kelly, and yes Freeman is likable, but I just think if ND would have taken more time they could have done better.
  15. I just don’t believe if you put the job out there that he would have been the best candidate for the job, and if he already hadn’t been in the building he wouldn’t have gotten the job. I said after last season with the schedule for this year I saw an 8-4 team, which now at the best 9-3. That’s not good enough at ND.
  16. Well said, and all easy to see, and understand.
  17. It was Bloom’s fault for resigning Kike with a raise at that in the first place. It was Cora’s fault for keeping Kike at SS until he was told not to. It’s not really that hard to see that.
  18. The coach was a way to quick hire after Kelly left, and a more thorough search should have been done. Freeman was not the best candidate for the job, but was handy.
  19. I don’t think the Dodgers won, because Kike was at SS just like they didn’t win games, because Mookie played SS, or 2B.
  20. I still think not trading any top prospects for 5 years was all Bloom. DD was coming off the WS of 2018, so I wouldn’t count 2019, so that leaves it all on Bloom where I think the decision not to was all on him. I don’t think JH is that much into that part of the operations like he Used to at one time, so to me it’s all Bloom.
  21. I haven’t said anything about playing x over y, but I still think Cora made all the lineup decisions, and had to be told to get Kike off SS.
  22. I know what if, and speculation means, but it has been your take for two years now that JH didn’t want Bloom to trade any top prospects.
  23. I agree with you there, but I think it was Cora’s decisions on who played where, and when.
  24. Kike was really the last option that year to take over CF after trying others first, so it wasn’t a first thought for Cora.
  25. Do you really think it was more Bloom telling Cora who to play, and where?
