That’s the question I asked. That’s kind of like I was told the Red Sox couldn’t have done anything better with their $10M than Kike when they resigned him. The Red Sox couldn’t have done much worse than the Wing Man, and the YO Man. I don’t know who else was out there at the time, but if that’s all the was than Baseball is even in worse shape than I thought.

You are such a NN. NO ONE said anything about pitching short, or with a 6 man staff, but you. Were the Wing Man, and the Yo Man the ONLY two so called available arms out there, or was it that’s who the Red Sox chose?

Bolt? Really? Another bad comparison? Houck’s career high is what is was, because he’s bounced around between starting, and BP, been inconsistent, and been injured. So should he just stop pitching, and go home? Ignorant? This is coming from NNN. The Kut Man has bounced around too, so should he just go home now?

Another excuse. Just, because Kut Man, and Houck are reaching career highs doesn’t mean they still can’t pitch. It’s not like their career highs were that high to begin with.

Of course that’s what any fan would want the Red Sox to do is to play short-handed. That goes without saying.

Really that’s where you are going to go when DD brought others in on the other end of the spectrum. Bad, bad comparison if it rates an comparison at all.

You complain what you want to, and others are going to complain about what they want to such as dumpster diving. There is enough to go around for everyone.

I don’t think anyone has said there aren’t dumpster dives on any team, but that doesn’t stop the complaints that the Red Sox visit there as often as they do. I don’t even know if the Wing Man, and the Yo Man wasn’t picked up at the dump itself.

Oh no! I’ve been misled all these years that the Red Sox were a big market club. What a bummer, and very disturbing to say the least.

They are still a Big market team, but chose not to spend like one, which is not the same thing, and that’s where a lot of the complaints come from for all the dumpster diving they do.

Yes they do condemn the entire dumpster diving process, and will continue to do so, because a big market team, and status of the Red Sox shouldn’t have to do it as often as they do to fill out the 26 man roster.

I agree with the 3-4 more wins with a better backend of the BP. I’ve been saying for over a week now that the BP needed help at the AS break, and nothing was done. You won’t get those losses back either.

Yea that’s one way to look at it, but a very good way, and I don’t think most Red Sox fans, or management for that matter are looking at it that way. I’d say the glass is 99% empty.

Very easy answer is that every move the Red Sox make gets scrutinized, and gets judged accordingly, and most fans are fed up with all the dumpster dives, and these two were as deep as you can get.

The big false alarm of Anthony being scratched from the lineup was, because the manager forgot that Anthony had an eye appointment, and had made the lineup out the previous day.

I thought Criswell should have made the rotation out of ST, and Whit started in the BP, but right now I don’t see any problem with him being the long man. More than likely another starter will go down anyway, and Criswell will be back in the rotation at some point. Yes he had that good start in Colorado, but he hadn’t been all that impressive before that, and had been sent back to Woo. I’m not sure that Paxton is going to be that much better though.

I think Brez did a better job helping the BP than he did the rotation, and a RHB.
