  1. A pretty good month of June going 15-10, and right in the think of things for a wildcard spot. What is holding the Red Sox back somewhat is their play at Fenway where they have a losing record. Have a month in July like they did in June, and that Wildcard spot could be theirs, and yes I know it would be a disappointment to some to not be sellers, and bring back some more suspects, but to actually do some buying. That would really put Brez in a tough spot on what to do, but wheel, and deal to me would be a lot more fun than to do nothing, or worst sell. I know on here prying away some prospects would be like pulling teeth, and real painful to some, but if the Red Sox play winning ball in July you’ll just have to endure the pain, because playing in October would be fun for a change, and most important the here, and now is what it’s all about.
  2. Let’s not leave out that he also had good D behind him.
  3. Wha,wha, wha from one of the heel tag team partners.
  4. As usual your best work was when you were in hibernation, or whatever you called it.🤭🙈🤮
  5. From the guy who threw a hissy fit, took his toys, and went home, and said he wasn’t coming back. Some would say he hasn’t come back. I must be missing something if the Red Sox at the present time are a losing team, and in last place. Sounds like that scenario is coming from a loser themselves.
  6. And on the other hand imagine the Red Sox being a wildcard contender, and going to a non contender, and giving up a prospect to get someone to make not only this team better, but possibly beyond this year. How many GM’s wouldn’t do that?. Amazing that your scenario only goes one way.
  7. Maybe, but not on any of the other sports venues I venture to.
  8. It doesn’t take anything to start a selling discussion. It’s built in, and standard operating procedure on here.
  9. Some of you see things if they are here, or not. Like I’ve said many times I’m not waving Pom Poms, or a cheerleader like some, so when I point out the negativity when the team loses doesn’t mean anything either way like some of you try to make out to be . If the Red Sox make the postseason I’ll be a cheerleader like I was with the Celtics, but not until, so read into anyway you want.
  10. I’ve heard more posters on here say this team is fun to watch than the other way around, so I don’t know what you are seeing. I’ve heard about the future for the last three years on here as losing seasons just tick away. It would be more fun to me to win now instead of hoping for something that might not never come in the future. Whether you watch, or not depends on how big of a fan you are. I’m nowhere near the baseball fan I used to be. I followed the Bruins, and World Champion Celtics through the playoffs, and today it’s Nascar for me. Coming soon will be college football, so more to the back burner the Sox will go. Where baseball used to be must watch TV for me just isn’t anymore, so I find plenty of other things to watch. For the so called Red Sox super fans on here you get what you see, or think you see.
  11. True. 2021 seems like so long ago. This year looks more positive at the moment, but things can change in a hurry with another month to go.
  12. And it still comes down to if you are selling off this year you are a LOSER for the third year in a row. You can put a positive spin on it, and say this team is fun to watch, but that doesn’t change the ALL Important standings, which some of us have pointed out many times.
  13. I disagree. Like I’ve said many times in the past if you are not playing to win, and playing to make the postseason then don’t play at all. Like Cora has said what you do, or don’t do in October is what’s most important, and that’s what Cora, and the players want, and are playing for. What Cora, and the players want is more important than what gets called for most of the time on here. Negativity is selling, and positivity is buying. The players are positive.
  14. Wanting to be sellers, and not buyers is not putting a positive spin on anything, and most importantly not what Cora, or the players want, and have wanted in the past. To be sellers means you are a loser AGAIN. The future is now 2024, and not 2025, and beyond.
  15. Calling Grissom Gus was no attempt at any humor. I have lots of nicknames for players. I know two brothers whose last name is Grissom, and they are Both called Gus. Only you found a problem in that Goose.
  16. To me the Debbie Downers, and Negative Nancy’s are the ones who talk about having a sell off all the time. I think I’ve heard more of that kind of talk the last three years than anything else on here. Before, during, and after the season ends. One even said before this season started that making the playoffs this year wouldn’t be any good anyway, because they wouldn’t do anything. Sham, sham, sham.
  17. This is why you are the Goose.
  18. You mean like all the negative Nancy’s, and Debbie Downers that was on here ALL offseason, and shouting Sham, Sham, Sham at the top of his lungs over, and over, and over again? I on the other hand was one of the more optimistic ones who kept saying wait until March 28, and see what things look like, and see how things turn out. Incapable of Joy? Some just don’t wave Pom Poms, and be a cheerleader, and wait, and see what October brings, which is. What Cora says is most important. Some just don’t get that game to game, or pitch to pitch Raffy can turn from Devers Forever to Never Devers, and vice versa, and the same with NOshida to GOshida. So Sham, Sham, Sham to those Debbie Downers, and Negative Nancy’s who didn’t wait to see how things would turn out for the ist half of the season, and glad to see you FINALLY called them out.
  19. Another short outing by a starting pitcher last night, and this time by Houck. Poor guy, because Cora made him work on his Birthday. Houck has been the Red Sox best pitcher the first half of the season, but now he has pitched more innings this year than in any other year in his career, and there is still a half of a season to go, so how he holds up will be interesting to see. The rest of the rotation haven’t been pitching that good either especially Big Baby Bello, and Pivetta. Seems like the Bailey magic is wearing off. Bailey got heaped lots of praise when things were going good, so it’s only right he gets the blame when things are going bad like they are now. Who couldn’t see this coming?
  20. 🙈🤭🤮.
  21. Agree. There is definitely a lot of dead money out there, and that is a problem.
  22. You didn’t tell the whole story though on the lowball contract offer, and by all accounts Bloom was still trying to sign Bogey right up until he signed with SD. Bogey gave all he had to the Red Sox helping win 2 titles, and didn’t owe them anymore.
  23. Max I think everyone knows by now how much the Red Sox are paying players who aren’t playing for the Sox, or not producing. You’ve reminded us many, many times. TY.
  24. Better your reply on Bogey by far.
