If Holt was in and got plunked for your perceived "showing up the Yankees" then that would mean a baserunner. Kinsler and Nunez back to back better pay off. If this series goes back to Boston because 6 & 7 goe 0-9 or 10, then Cora blew it in the event of a close game. I imagine if you had achieved the first cycle ever in the history of Little League, you would have just kept your head down and trotted smartly around the bases. Romine wasn't a catcher when he was pitching.

Swihart still very vulnerable on the breaking ball down low. Doesn't affect the game, but he doesn't show a lot of pitch recognition for a catcher. Neither does Leon.

In a 108+1 win season, I know I didn't see a more dominant performance from any pitcher in a critical game. Eovaldi has been anything but consistent since late July, but he delivered the goods tonight. Not missing seeing Kelly, Barnes, Workman, Poyner, Hembree, Brasier or Kimbrel so far.

It might be too obvious, but this offense is totally different and a run scoring beast when the lower end (6-9) of the order set the table for the top of the order. Said it during the season, and it shows up tonight. Just stay out of the 1-16 AB's in 6-9 and they score lots of runs.

If Vazquez is calling the pitches, not the bench (Cora or LaVangie), i would replace him right now. Stanton cannot handle the low outside breaking pitch and Vaz calls a high FB, standing up as he does and Stanton could have lost that ball. Vaz is not great if he's calling that stuff

Sanchez is the winner but I'm getting Judge in the mix. Don't like him, ugly as Texeira was and could still beat you when it counts. I would have traded Ellsbury for Gardner heads up any time, and I dislike Brett as long as he wears the pinstripes. He has outplayed Ells for a while.

Alex Cora needed to wake his team up , with Eo pitching today ( Yankee killer), and getting production from the 6-9 guys. Both moves have paid off big time and changed the series. What can Rick Porcello do tomorrow ? Win it ?? Will Alex go back to Nunez and Kinsler against the Fat man ?? Stay tuned. Only the Shadow knows

The TBS crew including Darling are doing their damndest to make a 10-1 blowout sound like the `19th inning of a WS 7th game. They are the only thing in Yankee Stadium worse than Hernandez
