  1. Hope it's not the case but the team may take these kind of games for granted with the big lead. In 1978, just one more win over a 40 game run would have rendered Bucky Dent as a footnote in Yankee history.
  2. Bogie 1 for last 8 AB's; Bradley 1 for 12; Holt 1 for 18. Can't score without the bottom half of the lineup participating.
  3. JDM has the only 2 hits so far. No one is alive with the bat except him
  4. Stroman trying to jam him inside , take the walk
  5. Bogie either needs to go to the rightside or get a hit.
  6. So was that a good appearance by Workman ? He held the line despite all the trouble. Sandy's awareness and quickness helped him out of his own jam. The offense really needs to go to work and winn this one now.
  7. Despite all his walks and generally weak pitching, if the offense had scored 5 by now, it would at least look better on Drew's resume to double his win total.
  8. Sandy getting the green light on 3-0. Do not swing again Sandy, he will walk you, NOT
  9. Butter him up and apply the grape jelly.
  10. Cora giving every possible reasonable doubt to Pom, and Drew fails. End of discussion on many threads, hopefully. DL him for lack of cranial-limb connection
  11. It certainly seems to be declining in accuracy and most importantly consistency within each game. I am sure somewhere in league/MLB offices there are stats being kept but the U union probably shuts it all down from the public.
  12. When a pitcher makes his living throwing sliders or curves, do you think you might be more reluctant to swing since the pitch rarely finishes in the strike zone. JBJr got caught on a marginal call , but Nunez chased a bad pitch, as if that was new.
  13. Your stuff on the board is better than Pom's on the mound.
  14. Pomeranz--"I walk them so X and Brock can work on the DP timing. I'm strictly a team player"
  15. Your *******s in NY have a clubhouse cancer, better cut it out now. You are so f***ing wrong you must have gotten your medical degree at a Holiday Inn Express
  16. Hard to imagine how clutch JDM is, until you recall Ortiz.
  17. An error breaks up the perfect game, now if Mitch can avoid the DP, JDM can homer to tie it up.
  18. Thank the universe, we no longer have to worry about Drew Pomeranz's role on this team starting at about 10PM. He may be on the roster, but not the mound
  19. Some people ?? Now you are stretching the fabris in an unattractive manner
  20. Don't be bringing the human psyche element into a game between Watson and UZR/WARs
  21. At least we get to watch a perfect game by Stroman.
  22. Yes, predictably consistent with Koji. Kimbrel brings all the excitement of a Nantucket sleigh ride. He usually gets the whale, but it is exciting to watch.
  23. It's ironic that the best record in baseball can run Pom and Brian Johnson out as their #4 and #5, with no fear right now.
  24. Bogaerts to Holt to Moreland in 0.8 secs
  25. Definitely agree ; apply the pressure and push the envelope. My comments were sarcastic at best. Sarcasm---Just another service we provide.
