Swihart's Ghost---No way, LOL.. That was a gutsy screen name for our man here to go with. I give him credit.
-
Don't you need a Zip Code in front of the numbers, SS ?
-
Swihart lives in the memories of his thankful countrymen
-
And let's call them Openers, as in Open a Can of Worms
-
Red Sox winning 9-0... Betts, JDM and Bogey 0-11. Trade them too
-
Leon, only warning track power. Need to trade him before the deadline.
-
Holt now to .300, but with only 40 AB's, I think
-
Nahh, Chris showed the ability against the Dodgers, so let's roll with it. Cures the closer issue and all we need is a real good starter to infill
-
Honestly, just hire the Talksox team to cure all your FO and player performance problems
-
Remy says about the same thing. Keep your head/eyes in the zone and don't let the lead shoulder fly out.
-
Can you imagine any referee calling a penalty shot late in the third of a tie game in the Finals. Never happen
-
Maybe Devers could talk with Chavis and say, Kid, I know how you feel, I was there once long ago. Cut that swing down and keep your head down too.
-
Bruin 3-2, on a third period penalty shot at 19:55
-
Sale does have 8 K's in 6 full innings but with only 73 pitches thereby saving his arm and the bullpen load, who may be needed tomorrow in the early start time game.
-
I'll take a wild chance that Weber gets 4 decent innings, maybe 2 runs, then Velazquez for 3 with 1 run, Walden, Barnes and Workman shut KC down for a 5-3 win and a sweep. If that is how it plays out, please send money for my next prediction
-
Especially when your first line is scuffling, but no names , please
-
Never forget the Dolphins too. That should be 5-6 wins per year right there. How have those 3 teams stunk it up for about 15 years , never getting much better ?
-
This is one of those "that's baseball" games. Sale remains sharp, with a low pitch count, but gets lots of run support JDM gets 3 shots at an rbi and hits nothing balls, leaves 5 LOB in 5 innings. JBJr clears the bases for 3 rbis by going oppo, which we all beg him to do. It will cure the shifters too, if he does. Chavis shows why he needs some help and a new mindset. Holt with another multi-hit game Leon with a double.
-
Not wishing Chavis any ill, and hope he can be a big part of the future, probably at 1B. It's just so obvious that unless he makes some real changes in his approach at the plate, he will get abused by any pitcher with some control. needs more experience at a slightly lower level.
-
Actually glad to see him hitting. The team needs his actualization, not his potential, and tonight he's all over it
-
3rd time with RISP, JD. Time to rip
-
Imagine Junis pitching around JBJr. Helps the OBP though, which helps grow the OPS
-
Oh my
-
There are some very smart people on this site but those that think Chavis is ready at bat for this level make me wonder what it is I am missing. his fielding exceeds his hitting. He needs a lot more experience and getting it here may pay at the end of the day, or it may sink him like a few before him. When Moreland or Pearce get back, I trust it will be Michael's turn to rest.
-
Could be a long night for Mr. Junis. Beni was banging, but JD misses the rbi opportunity
