  1. Dodgers should be a football team with these safeties playing baseball
  2. Agreed, he assumed that his bats would show up vs the BP crew from Dodgerland. Haven't done so and now you have a pick up softball team playing
  3. Really can't agree with Eovaldi tonight. Win or lose tonight, he is much more valuable tomorrow for the series win or to get 3 up. Burning him tonight is a waste of talent. I do get the win the game you are playing, not tomorrows, but the hitters are showing nothing and your guys are past their bedtimes.
  4. Bogie, Betts, JDM, Moreland all really helpless against an assortment of Cy Youngs
  5. Hembree and Barnes are an odd couple. 25 pitch innings, 2 out walks, but still no runs. Again a totally winnable game for the Sox to crush the Dodgers 3-0 and NOBODY can hit .
  6. You could say they are a waste because they sey up nothing nor tease the hitter into swinging
  7. The serious disappointment, to this point in the 11th, is that the Dodgers have shown that they can't beat us in their park and our guys have played along with the charade. Just prolonging the inevitable.
  8. He had used Swihart earlier
  9. The throw home was not especially good except for being on the fly, but Kinsler wasn't within 10' of the plate anyway.
  10. Kinsler is one lucky ******** and a stupid baserunner.
  11. Very winnable game being wasted by both sides. Sox should have gotten to Jansen in the 9th.
  12. I swear that 0-2, 1-2 way high pitch which is not effective throws the Sox pitchers off rhythm
  13. That was a s***** 3-2 effort to Grandal, who has been a virtual auto-out so far
  14. That's a good position for a light hitter, maybe 7th or 8th in the lineup
  15. Hope you are right but I would have to suspend belief and all stats to see that happen. So you're saying there's a chance, though?
  16. Well, Matt K'ed Machado which was huge. Love the way he uses his curve to set up the high FB. He goes 2-0 with the curve then 7 or 8 straight FB's.
  17. Told you Jansen can be beat, just didn't see the ALCS MVP being the guy. Keep it rolling now. Does Cora bring Drew P. in ?????
  18. Jansen can be wild, but Barrett will help him with that, and you can run on him, but you cannot go while he is still looking for signs.
  19. Jansen, with his heart condition, blew a few games this year. Looked strong at the end but still can be beat, especially if he tries to go 2 innings.
  20. Yes because he would not have been standing still holding the bag with the ball going to Rafi. He would have taken the goalie stance
  21. Like others, I would hate to lose this one 1-0, terrible waste of a well pitched game, but with Drew warming up, we may not have much to be concerned about.
  22. A rare thrill may be in store if we get to see Drew Pomeranz pitch in the WS. Meanwhile Brasier is throwing good but having to work.
  23. Screwed by the ump again, but why would Devers even flip that ball semi-wildly. Oh yeah, He's 22
  24. Here's one time Cora is out on a limb with the decision to bat JDM between Moreland and Holt. If I just tuned in , I would think Martinez was hitting 7th. In any case, neithe JD nor anyone else is hitting Buehler tonight. Get ready fr Baez and Jansen, both of who can be beat, sort of like the Yankee pen.
  25. Moreland is only effective when the pitch hits him. Might not see a lot more of Mitch this series as a starter, especially at 3rd in the lineup
