When Cora and his coaches were fired after the April 25th 17 run blowout of the Otrioles, the Sox were 10-17 , one game worse than the 2-8 start . Since then they have gone 11-10 , while still run challenged . It's not a lot but the trend is very slightly positive. Still 6 below .500 , same as after the first 10 games where Cora did not have them ready to play . -

Spoiled maybe. Expectant of a competitive team , certainly. But not the run from 2018 to this current team. Here's a question , was the firing of Cora and coaches (x Bailey), a planned thought out event or a spasmodic reaction to an internal power struggle, not unlike the Devers situation. In any event , it was not a strategic move to make the team better.
