  1. Missed strike 3 , though. When you have a man at third less than 2 outs, you have one job. Iggy failed
  2. Vaz's hot wheels smoking the sacks at Chicago
  3. With 3 games left between the two eternal rivals, one or the pother can piss on the remaining embers of a season that has not played out to form (rosters on paper). The D Covid has thrown the last spitball against all of them, furthering the frustration. Depth has become everything.
  4. In the airplane world, takeoffs are optional, landings are mandatory.
  5. Tanner Houck (0-3) with a nice ERA of 3.26, but who gets little support from his hitters goes against TBD who is likely Rodon (11-5) . 20 games to go, need 10 W's for a 90 game season for the Red Sox. If that had been a given on March 30 , most fans would have signed up quickly. In the eternal race for the 2 WCs , a one game play-in demolition derby The Red Sox are listed as #1 but NYY has 2 more games to play, and Toronto has 3 to play, only 1/2 back, and are streaking. The other pretenders in the AL West, Seattle and Oakland are each 2 games back, but also have 2 more to play than the Red Sox . Advice for the Sox: win about 15 of the 20 to solidify your playoff game. Meanwhile TB12 goes to 6-0 pitching against the Cowboys who are probably looking for a kicker
  6. Cover me , SS, like Renfroe did for Santana in case I forget the Sox are playing, LOL
  7. Equal of any I have seen from Fenway. Notice how he had to cover and chase Santana's regrettable missed dive , turn and throw. Loving it
  8. My first thread start but , of course , I knew they would win after the prior losing streak. So now I assume you all want another.
  9. Hunter Renfro, thank you. Two assists, 2 run HR, saved the remnant of this season. Finally some great plays, and great pitching by Nate, and Robles
  10. A real changeup would be devastating
  11. I recall, but this is not a beanfield if you know the reference, I'm sure you do
  12. Hansel Robles to close it ? Good F'ing luck to us
  13. Where the heck is Moon and Max when you need the voice of baseball wisdom ? Bellhorn, A 700 etc., chime in
  14. Is there anyone who can close ??? A blown deal here would be a heart attack, not for me, but for AC
  15. OK, props to JD for getting in scoring position. They really do not play him to pull. In Fenway, he needs to pull, forget RCF.
  16. Was that clutch, lucky or experience ??
  17. Rather have Renfro AB right now rather than all the JDMs and Devers on the roster
  18. Literally no one on the right side except the 1Bman holding Schwarber. That's a joke in itself
  19. Did not take long for Schwarber to get the low inside slider disease. Worse than Covid
  20. Never understood why they didn't go for Nelson on multiple occasions . JDM rightfully blocked the need to consider another DH for a couple years. Schwarber, who knows ??? Got to make him an offer first
  21. Dugo does his job, thank you, now get around the bases.
  22. They have 6 outs to get a minimum of 2 runs , all one run would do is prolong the misery of this bunch. Pull it out or pull out altogether
  23. He was available but we got Schwarber on the IL, and tonight he needs some rest. You choose.
  24. Is Robles warming up/loosening maybe with a yellow softball??
