  1. Hah ! What chill pill did Rafi take to hold back on pretty bad pitches. Cole is going from medium well, to fully baked, given one more hit, or just for the fun of it, pull him now
  2. Given Cole's sequencing and trying to get swings at the low breaking slider or high FB, a couple of these guys should judst stand still until he throws 2 called strikes, which with this umpire may not be too hard
  3. Arroyo had no chance once he decided he must swing at 2 FB's up
  4. Screw Cole and the Yankees. Bogey delivers , reinforcing the Devers walk
  5. Great patience by Rafael to extend Cole's fast inning
  6. The3re is no rational way to think the loss of JDM is a benefit to the team . I easily see why it is possible to lose patience with him, same as Bogarts and Devers on some AB's. But , Dance with the one whut brung ya !
  7. Can Nate just brush Stanton off the plate once just to establish position. Or hit him in the foot. Mike is a showdog and doesn't like getting crowded
  8. Have an idea of what to look for early in the count, take a pitch or two to get it, make Cole throw 20 pitches per inning.
  9. Absolutely was a one gamer highlighting the most epic choke job in the history of the game . Sox beat them like a big bass drum , which the Yankees well deserved. No team failed so epically as the 2004 Yankees, and conversely our grinning idiots showed that nothing is impossible in this game.
  10. Welcome to the fire Christian Arroyo. Tough place to try and get back into game speed. It would be a great achievement if the bottom third of this order could win it for us.
  11. As would Sale and JDM , displacing some the irregulars , for the ALDS , if and when....
  12. Other than the likelihood of Plawecki and Vazquez flipflopping in a Catcher/PH capacity, who else in the prospective lineup would you actually PH for , Shaw for Dalbec ? I don't see Arauz, Wong or Duran hitting for anyone ( well, maybe if you want exceptional bunting skills to play a role). A PRunner scenario is very possible in the 8th or 9th. I think if we are behind in the 9th , we will see Chapman for the Yankees, so that would negate Shaw's usage I would think
  13. I would rather see Sawamura than Richards , including 2022 opening day
  14. Interesting that of the 26 players who were on the active roster for the opening series with the Orioles, there are now 9 "new" names on the WC 26. Sale did not make either of those 2 rosters , and JD Martinez made an ill-fated misstep over second base. Here's wishing Nate a spectacular 6 inning game.[b But who is the starting catcher ??
  15. Great hope !!
  16. Keep talking, Bogey goes down
  17. I was going to let your stupidity pass for the ignorance it reflects , but here's a cheery f*** you to your dog
  18. JDM trips over second base ? He must not be familiar with the fact that it is out there.
  19. The humorous sarcasm about the Sox hitting difficulties , especially against very weak or inexperienced pitching is no longer funny. These guys are collectively not going anywhere significant post season, regardless how they finish today's version of impotence .
  20. Schwarber , no idea
  21. Good situation to blow up Adon and the Nats. But have to convert now. Been problematic recently
  22. Is it obligatory to watch Sox baserunners ? I might develop some bad habits
  23. If Devers would pull the ball it wouldn't have to fly so far to get out.
  24. Saw job by Saw-amura saves the Sox chances for a comeback.
  25. 2 1/3rd innings from the "Ace". Sale needs the offseason to figure himself out. Not quite ready for primetime yet.
