  1. Once, 6th inning, October 1. Great job
  2. As in how could I possibly be wrong , just glad to have had the thought that it was possible
  3. Haven't been a big time Erod fan over the last few years but he is doing his job tonight to set up the Sox for the win. Having said that , giving up a lead off walk , then a hit with no outs is a great example of why i am not a real fan of his. Just thanks for the great work tonight, Eduardo, see you around.
  4. Dalbec puts the exclamation point on it.
  5. Got 100-1 odds
  6. Called it. Love me some Renfroe
  7. Davey Martinez looks incredibly interested in his loser team and may be a little sleepy
  8. 3 run Renfroe ??
  9. Rays up 2-1 in the 6th. Wish we were at least at 2
  10. 4th out of 5 innings with lead off walk or hit. Now what?
  11. Following up the O's series with this type of non-hitting is nothing short of incredible.
  12. A hit, a DP, a walk, a K. Sox version of a threatening rally
  13. Nice participation Erod. Terrible bunt, no effort
  14. Now after Erod's Houdini act, can the hitters participate on the LH junk
  15. No hitting , no scoring, no pitching changes due to heavy offense, no time off the clock
  16. Bulletin just in : Erod fields his position, looking good
  17. Bogaerts does look beat recently
  18. Hah, Sox dropped 3 straight to the Orioles to open, whatever league they are in
  19. They are missing hard contact on some 85-90mph balls in the hitting zones. After seeing so many LH trash pitchers the last week, you would think it might start settling in.
  20. Great, Erod gets to lead off in the 3rd, if he gets that far
  21. First three batters and no one yet to hit a fair ball, lol. Devers will fix that
  22. It is a small thing but realize that if the Rays swept the NYY'ers and the Sox swept the Nationals , we would again be on top of those dogs. And if The Mariner's did the same vs the LAA, then the Yankees would be out altogether as would the Jays. That would be the most perfect end of a unexpected season finale. Old Red is right too, for that to happen our Red Sox need to win their 3 games. No odds are taken nor given on that
  23. We sent 5 guys to the A-S game based on the extraordinarily successful achievements of a lowly regarded team. Martinez, Devers, Barnes, Eovaldi, and Bogaerts went repping the Sox who at the time had about the best W-L record in both leagues. The only one of those who remained consistent was Nate Eovaldi, and even his W's only went from 9 to 11 on over 70 games . granted W's and L's are poor indicators of effectiveness for pitchers. Barnes went completely beserk, and the 3 amigo hitters all declined in production. Covid vaxxing aside, makes me wonder what the real vibe in that clubhouse was between vets and rookies/AAAA'ers, pitchers/position players, the revolving door with WooSox, including many guys who were not part of the 2018 WS winners. Is the second half swoon due in part to poor team chemistry, or are these guys truly supportive teammates ?
  24. It is probably Capt Obvious speaking through me, but if ever Eduardo Rodriguez needed to suck it up and pitch 6 hard innings, this is the night. He needs to keep them in the game more than just the first 2 innings. Either he can be a big game guy or his agent will get pissed on when trying to shop him this winter. I'll give ERod 2 runs allowed over 6 innings and pat him on the back. He will still need some hitting support but that is in others hands.
  25. No Arroyo nor Iglesias either at 2B. The loss of the DH in NL parks penalizes AL teams more than the NL gaining one in AL Parks.
