  1. That's why Roman should not have wasted that last challenge.
  2. 3 years, 126 Million. Ridiculous.
  3. Bo Bichette signs with the Mets.
  4. I started this thread after the WS and today just proves my point. The Dodgers have an unlimited budget and can afford to OVERPAY for whoever they want and this is an overpay. The guy hit .218 in July and .244 in August. Got benched for a while. 60 million a year? Give me a break! Ted Williams would be worth 150 million a year by today's standards.
  5. Red Sox offered 5/165 but not a no trade clause. Not exactly cheaping out.
  6. He was a one year mercenary. I'm not attached to him. Its not losing Fisk, Clemens, Damon or Mookie. Those hurt. I do think he will help the Cubs for the next few years if he can stay on the field.
  7. If the Red Sox offered 5/150 would that be lowballing? I don't think so. The Cubs over paid.
  8. The Sox had better sign Bichette or the off season is a disaster.
  9. Duran is not my guy and I do not prefer tading Abreu. I think you have my post confused with someone else.
  10. Absolutely do not trade Rafaela. He just won a gold glove at a premium position, he can play multiple positions, is young and is improving each year as a hitter. He has not yet begun to hit his ceiling as a hitter. DO NOT TRADE.
  11. Duran is signed already. Do you mean trade?
  12. Never heard of those guys. Hope they don't turn out to be good because I am not thrilled with Contreras as a DH/1B guy.
  13. He is not a catcher. DH/1B only
  14. He is drastically overpaid. He received that contract because the Cardinals thought he could catch, which he can't.
  15. Pete Alonso is coming. Just wait.
  16. I was kidding. I know they won't sign those guys.
  17. I agree. Mayer, if healthy, will be the third baseman or second baseman. They do have to have power at two of the three positions of 3B, 2B and 1B. Alonso at first and Schwarber at DH would solve everything:)
  18. A solid #3 starter, one more good bullpen guy, a power hitting first baseman (preferably right handed bat), a second baseman, and if Bregman doesn't return, a power hitting, good fielding third baseman. Easy list for Breslow.
  19. I would not trade Abreu unless they get a young, good, controlable pitcher and those aren't available. Except for Quinn Priester,....oops.
