    Todays starting line-up between Pawtucket and Yanks Scranton Wilkes Barre. The average age for Pawsox is 28.4 Scranton its 25.6 only reason its this high is because Ellsbury is rehabbing, othwerwise it's 23.8

    They way I look at it then if Castillo isn't blocking kids from CF, then he should be called up to Boston if you need him. This ******** on Luxury Tax, to Billionaires is dumb. He contributes 1 or 2 wins, in case of injury, Sox make the Play-offs with his help, pays for itself.

    Development at Triple AAA is the most important part of the process, because of the competition you face. Very few Major Leaguers in Double AA. 20 year old kid going from Double AA to the Majors, is tough.

    You cant release Craig? Make room at 3rd for Devers, and make Dominquez a DH?

    Devers at Portland he is flip-flopping with Chavis at 3rd base and DH. That's stupid. Dominquez stinks, bring up Devers. Sure some growing pains, but, at least he'll be growing.

    Here's the problem with me about Craig and Castillo. Money I could care less. These clowns have tons. They are blocking the other Prospects, even the DH role at Triple AAA is important. If not in their future because of contract, they should be released. Mistake made move on, no reason to hold up other kids. 2 mistakes don't make a right.

    He doesn't come off the books till 2020. Wow! Has to be the most expensive Minor leaguer in history, or close to it. If Sale stays steady and Price or Porcello can turn it around, Hanley steps up his game we'll be fine for 2nd half.

    Groome yesterday 3.2 innings 4 hits, 3 runs, 1 ER, 2 BB's, 5 K's. 73 pitches 46 strikes.

    He has no secondary pitches that he throws for strikes. Live and die with the fastball.

    Another position, that's why they are in the Minors. Most important time to evaluate maybe weak at one but strong in another.

    Tell you kid I'm worried losing is Chavis, he's starting to get it. Has tremendous Power. I think he just got promoted too. Dombrowski will see 2, 3rd Baseman and Trade 1, instead of moving him to another Position. Minors is the time to do it. Maybe Devers is getting promoted too.

    It takes 2 to Tango, we're inclined to look only at the Sox side. Padres probably would have not made the deal without Margot. So at this moment, would Margot make the Sox better, or Kimbrel. Maybe Allen will d something in the Majors, I doubt the rest in that Trade has a big impact in the Majors.

    You can get by at 3rd base, but you need exceptional Defense. Left side of the infield for me starts with Defense. You get Offense there, you got something Special. We do X-Man.

    Sox play 17 straight games without a day off now. This is an important part of year.

    GM's on other teams aren't stupid. They see another team for a big need at a certain position, see that their Minor Leaguers are a couple of years away, they will ask for a lot.....at this moment. Longer you wait you could get someone decent, for a salary dump, or FA's to be, or teams that feel they might want to bring their kids up at July 31, might not cost you so much. Patience, at this point, I know it stinks, but with all the injuries on this team this year, were in 1st, I'm really shocked. Doing OK.

    Holds are more important than Saves to me. 1 Reliever comes in with a 99 % with no Runners on base the other in critical situations. With the hold situation you need a Strike thrower, walks or throwing to hitter counts will kill you.

    .278 team batting average with RISP, keep this up, we'll be fine. Tons of injuries and we're in 1st, not complaining.

    Lowell Spinners started their season yesterday, and Groome started 1st game. So-so, 2.1 inning, 1 hit 1 ER, 3 K's. Interesting the Sox held him back, so he could go to short Season for Lowell.

    Worse production in 2014 at 3rd base, with Ortiz finished last. In 1st, with the kids, Holt comes back it will help. Not worried yet, still early.
