Tanner Houck is really struggling in Salem. Some bad numbers. 49.2 innings, 58 hits, with a ridiculous 37 walks. Soxprospects has him at #2? Not good. Haven't been on that site in years. Just don't think they are accurate enough for me. Last night 5 innings, 7 hits, 4 ER's, 6 K's with 4 BB's, and a HR. Better start throwing some strikes consistently and when he does he gets hit. His ERA is 6.16 up to this point. Maybe High A too much at this point.

Sox got to take care of business against the WS and Orioles, next 16 out of 19 games after that will be against teams above .500 toughest stretch leading up to the AS break, in first half.

While just with the Sox Sales record against teams over .500 is 5-9 with a 4.58, against teams .500 and below, is 17-3 with a 2.31 era.

Sale's record against good teams not good. Not that many granted, but he doesn't dominate them like he does the weaker teams.

Any 10 year contract is crazy, don't matter to who. Stay away from these, team killers.

Don't the Sox have to worry about any contracts, at this point for the Luxury Tax? July 31 would make more sense if your getting a Higher Contract, I would think. Abreu is being held back for this he would get some good Prospects, which is what the WS are looking at. They don't want Contracts like JBJ, even to them too expensive.

Justin Haley got promoted? Been a tough luck loser down at Pawtucket. Game I went to he pitched Damn good against the Yanks Triple AAA team and Justus Sheffield, actually out pitched him that day.
