Keep it simple. Solve the problem. LF will no longer be a problem. Make Moncada at 3B situation work. We invested $60M on this kid. He's not shown that he's going to fail. Maybe save money on not signing Encarnacion and use it to bolster pitching staff.

I like any scenario that has Benintendi playing full time....thus our OF is PLUGGED for years to come. Young is signed for another year.....why take away opportunity for Benintendi? He's not show any lefty/right splits.

I hate Holt as Sox starting LF....but I love the kid when he's filling in......today at SS.......he's a super sub and very valuable to a ball club in that role.

If the fans are forced to pay twice for the double header, won't the gate revenue remain neutral? I don't see any reason to have 4 game series over 4 days. One of my best memories was driving to Chicago and watching Sox play the wrong colored Sox 4 times over the weekend.

Typical Sox FO to overpay for AJ...the biggest prick in major league baseball......Agents must love us.....we love giving out retirement/severance pay for has been, over the hill, broken body baseball players. Pablo Sandoval was our latest Power Ball jackpot winner. And this is why we should develop Swihart as a catcher.

Okay, I was just kidding, thus the Fantasy Island comment, BUT now that you went serious on me...... What if it was 3 game mandatory for every position player in the league? At some point in the season, they miss 3 straight games. I do think they could use some time off.

I loved watching the bottom of our lineup last night.....starts with Sandy and ends with Benintendi.....Then Pedey is there to drive them in. No offense but watching Hanigan bat really depresses me.

As I just posted in another thread, I don't think he should be called up unless the situation becomes dire. We are not at that point. I can't think of another Sox team that I've experienced so many WTF moments. At least when they came in dead last, they were simply just bad. Barnes starts the 8th inning with a 6-3 lead and walks first 3 batters. Or Kimbro walking 4 straight batters in a save situation before getting bailed by Barnes. We trade for Abad for the purpose of shutting down one left handed batter.....gives up a 3 run shot to Cano in his first appearance. It just goes on and on. The problem is THEY ALL TAKE TURNS DOING IT. Now that hitting has settled down to norm, this is a very vulnerable team. Quite frankly, no lead is safe, except when Porcello is pitching. And I swear I can see John Farrell muttering..."WTF?" to himself with that dumb look of his.

Problem with Buch is that he wants to show off all of his pitches. His change was not working except for once but he insisted on throwing the pitch for balls. Also at some point, when you have a #8 hitter batting .210, don't you just pitch to contact instead of attempting to paint corners three times with three different pitches? Clay is DUMB. That's why he'll never succeed. Oh he'll have stretches of good run like a guy at a black jack table. Ultimately that guy will give back the money to the dealer and go home broke.

I hate the excuses always given for pitcher. I'm going to scream next time someone says Tazawa is overworked. If that's the case, put him on freaking DL for tired arm every other 15 days and have someone else pitch. Obviously they can't handle the load. I hate that we have so many whimps on the roster. They are either physically not tough or mentally soft....this is the Sox culture and Showwalter is laughing every minute. This team is SOFT.
