Tampa Bay is not trailing Texas. They are both 1 1/2 games behind the Sox. Our Sox announcers spew tons of erroneous information. Very unprofessional.

Yoshida needs to improve his slugging %. I don't give a damn about sample size. We can't have a DH with .333 slugging %. Compare that with Gonzalez's team leading .544. Are you telling me that he just can't hit right handed pitchers? I rather Gonzalez DH than Yoshida. To me, he only plays because of his contract.

Despite Dodgers' $407M luxury tax payroll, they are not a shoe in this year. Their starting pitching seems a bit shaky against playoff teams.

i don't really care much about our position players, other than the high ceiling guys. If there's not a Mayer or Anthony in the group, I rather just trade them. I'm only interested in pitching, especially starting pitching. Which means right now only Payton Tolle has any hold on me. You can get a short term rentals at the positionals. Hell we have Narvaez, Mayer, Anthony, Rafaela, Duran and Abreu in our 'window' of opportunity for playoff spots. With Crochet's 6 year deal through 2031 and Bello deal that runs through 2030 (club option), I am going with the window of opportunity for 6 years starting 2026. That's 6 positional players out of 9, not withstanding possible extension for Bregman. Hell, it shouldn't be that difficult for Bres to build a contender. I will give him a pass for this year but NO MORE. He and Cora should be fired if they don't get into the playoffs in 2026. No excuses. -

Cora loves to micro manage, he loves platooning. Look at the Phillies. 8 out of 9 positions are pretty much full time. (I'm not counting catching because everyone has two catchers). Only position its shared is CF. With our lineup we never know who is going to step forward. I hate it.

That was his last year.....we could've managed. You don't give up a chance to sign a premium player. Hell, we're paying Yoshida $18M for 5 years and he's a part time DH. Lets' see how much we're willing to pay, cash and players for next Crochet. Maybe our ownership group has gained much knowledge. I would love to sign him as our next DH. We just got rid of $30M DH that had contract through 2033. That's 8 more years. Why not give Schwarber another 4 year deal?

Our biggest mistake was not going after Kyle Schwarber. 46, 47, 38 and 32 homers for mere 4 Year $79M. Ultimately, you need a power bat in the lineup.

I would pull the Tamp Rays and let Tolle come up and start a game. He's averaging close to 1.5 K's per inning. In 18 innings at Portland, 4 BB's and 27 K's, .164 BA, ..522 OPS Sale and Crochet never pitched in AAA. Bring him up and let him start a game.....what are we afraid of? Do we have to go through another mental midget iteration on this board? He will be damaged good if he bombs in his first outing? -
Thank you.......You can't have a black hole in the lineup wild chasing a playoff spot.....we're not 20 games over .500 and coasting.

No way we're trading Abreu. This team needs power, He leads the team with 18 HR. Devers has 17 HR. 98 more at bats for Devers.

Are we a platoon team or NOT. Should I not pinch hit for Yoshida with say Refsnyder? Or is it too early for that?
