    Perhaps he is baiting all the pitchers in MLB? You know, like he wanders the lonely halls of Fenway loudly proclaiming “Woe is me. I can only hit pitches down the middle.     Swanson was a pretty mediocre player the bulk of his career with the Braves. Before the outlier 2022 season, his career OPS+ was 90. And he has always had one of the weakest arms of any MLB starting SS. Great hands and range, but throws like a 6 year old girl using her weak arm. It’s been working out great for the Cubs, but I don’t fault any team for looking past Swanson…

    Eaton is very fast. Also throws very hard. Two difficult skills to improve with coaching. But he’s a mediocre hitter who probably becomes a bad hitter as his PAs increase…
