    No idea why, but didn’t they try to change too much about Campbell’s approach and swing? And maybe get rid of that toe tap? He still has elite batspeed and only struggled for one month in MLB. If he is learning to hit with a drastically different swing, of course he is going to struggle. Although frankly, I thought they tried to fix something that might not have been broken…

    It is surprising how many have written of Mayer, Campbell and Anthony after the three have a combined total of about 1,000 plate appearances…

    For the sake of having a metric, BTV gives Mayer $29mill in surplus value. I don’t think many teams want him at that price point, but I think every team does have an acceptable one for him. That no team would take him period is ridiculous….
