Yep. Bloom’s inactions were his biggest problem. And why I was glad to see him go. Sad, too, because when he actually made moves, they occasionally turned out ok. I honestly don’t remember what opportunities he had. I do get why he didn’t commit to any player under control for too long, since Casas was breaking down the door. And you gotta admit it is pretty lucky when a team DFAs a cheap .270 hitting former All Star (from only 2 years ago!) who just happened to play the position you found yourself most in need of due to injury…
