    Let’s have five!! Reportedly Manfred is trying to work out some sort of revenue-sharing deal where all teams pool their TV money and it gets divided up among the league. I assume putting out proposals the wealthier owners will absolutely hate is an indication he plans to retire soon anyway…

    4 eight team divisions. (AL East, AL West, NL East, & Electric Blueberry) Each league sends two division winners plus 4 wild card teams to the postseason. Division winners get a first round bye. Done.

    MLB needs fewer divisions, not more. Do we really need more 82-80 teams making the postseason simply because the rest of the teams in their geographic area are even worse? Does MLB really want their version of the NFC South?

    Is pitching in AAA really a necessary step anymore? It seems like AAA is more a place for minor league contracts and players 27-40…

    IKF is more versatile, can field multiple positions (Andujar can’t field anywhere), has a Gold Glove, and can be used as a pinch runner. IKF over Andujar all day…

    He had one good year in CF, but he’s shown us plenty of times he doesn’t belong there. I don’t think Ive ever seen an outfielder more out of place than he was on Raimel Tapia’s inside-the-park grand slam. I know that’s just one play, but it was about as extreme as it gets…

    Schanuel was in the majors 2 months after being drafted. For a position player, thats almost unheard of. The only other player I can think of to reach MLB within 2 months of being drafted was Ryan Zimmerman. Relief pitchers do it all the time. But position players? Even the ones like Incaviglia that skip the minors entirely usually debut in April. (Ok Dave Winfield did debut in MLB within days of being drafted. But that was over 50 years ago.)
