I know, but I’ve said before the biggest problem Bloom had at the deadline was the lack of a top tier pitching prospect to move. All the bigger deals - Scherzer, Gibson, Berrios, Rodriguez - involved very good and in some cases, MLB-ready pitching prospects. (Only Berrios was acquired for a pitcher with little to no MLB experience, and Simeon Woods-Richardson is ranked, only 20, and already in AA.)
Now maybe if just one of Mata or Ward managed to avoid TJ…
