  1. Last year he weighed a ton. A good ball player does not need a momth to get his skill back on track. TW came back after WW2 and hit .400! Pablo can't move like a normal 3rd baseman should. I don't know about anyone else, but I've seen enough. I am also impressed with Hernandez. I only have one eye, but it's a good one!
  2. Does anyone else think Hernandez has won the 3rd base job? What are they waiting for? I haven't seen enough of his 3rd base play to give hi, a grade, but I've seen enough to know he's a helluva a lot better than Pablo. (and Farrell pinch hitter Young tonight for Hernandex. Young is about 1 for 10 thie against lefties while Hernandez is about 3 for 10. C'mon Man!
  3. Will John Farrell ever call for a hit and run again? The Yankees ar running, in case he isn't paying attention. And we have afastteam, with contact hitters. Fire him!
  4. 4 errors and game #15 is just getting started. I've seen enough.
  5. For awhile there, all Bet(t)s were off, then just like that, now they’re back on!
  6. 3 errors in 14 games? And he doesn't get that many chances! Bottom line: we need a new thirdbaseman.
  7. hOW DO WE KNOW WHAT rADATZ HA; nOBODY'S SEEN IT YET!
  8. How will we know when Mookie strikes out; Nobody;s seen it yet
  9. Well, we got it started. Into the Jay's bullpen this quickly bodes well for the rest of the series.
  10. Darn it, they finally got Vazquez out! I wonder what the advance scouting reports are saying about him?
  11. I am turnig negative on Pablo. His fileding has been atrocious. The first batter of the inning drove one down the line and Sandy looked like he was waiting for an email. He stood and watched until the basll was 1/2 way there. Now another bobble. Johnson hasn't got anything, so it won't cost them the game, probably. By the time Johnson gets pulled there'll be about 6 runs scored.
  12. Did I miss something? I don't care what the "sample" is, when your 1nd string catcher goes 7 fo 10, someone has bot to start paying attention. The numbers are kooky, but what matters the most is that he looks like a very confident hitter who is hitting strikes and letting ball go by. I expect chanhes will be made pretty soon. Or, didn't anyone notice?
  13. It will be if Mookie goes 5 for 5 and we win 12-2!
  14. I think Swihart was initiaally an infielder. He wanted to be a catcher, so they made the effort. How long should, could, would hat take? Everybody assumes he stunk as a left fielder, last year. I thought he made some good plays, and was doing far, far, far, bettertthan did Manny (or Td W, for that matter) Then he ran into the wall (they all do eventualy) and everyone assumed i was because he was clumsy. He runs well, he hits well from both side s of the plate. He's a potentilly VG outfielder, who wants o become a catcher. I would guess there is a time limit in place, but that only puts more pressure on him. He will never be a Vazquez, that's for sure. Yes, he may become as good as Veritek was, but how do they wait?
  15. Pablo is hitting .147. And don't give me "small sampless" stuff. He looks lost. Hernandez looks confident, and capable. Young is all done. Swihart is leading the PawSox in hitting while leading-off! These changes look more and more like no brainers the further along we get.setled.
  16. Love to see a couple of changes to this everyday linep. Swihart in left, Hernandez at 3rd, and Vazquez as the everyday catcher.Bradley comes back, he goes to CF Benni to LF and Swihart to swingman, pinch hitter, whatever. A .290 switch hitter should not be in Pawtucet PawSox to date: http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?t=t_ibp&cid=533&stn=true&sid=t533
  17. Get this guy out of there! Forget AA he looks more like an A picher (mmayne)
  18. It appears to me that Mookie flu-recovery has not gone as well as some ogf the others. His bat speed has slowed. Last year, I would now and then chant the old TW mantra, "wait, wait, wait, quick, quick, quick" and Mookie was right therel like his CF dance! Not so this year. Maybe today? Hope so.
  19. Un-called for comment about a guy's name,
  20. Both. A 'googd' 3rd baseman would have made the play.
  21. I would not be surprised to see Brock Holt traded, or relesed, before too long. He's nothing like the player he was a year ago.
  22. Fewest home runs in the AL? Red Sox---3 Fewest home runs in the NL? Pirates----3 I expect that to change, don't you? Even so, we are 3-2!
  23. Two days in Detroit. One innings left. Who did we miss the most, these two days. Betts, Boegarts, Hanley-----or Papi>
  24. The announcers didn't say much as to when the "big three" get back Wasn't that the thired three-rn home run in the 3 games? The statesmen will be all over that one. First 3 games of the seans. Somebody will dig up that it was done by someone in 1849, or something.
