    Chris Sale needed to be stuck in the bullpen at least 2 years ago. But nobody listened to Ole Bob.Will he come back. Doubtful, but he's the least of the Red Sox problems!

    Someone mentioned that Cole was a west-coast guy. Gee, so were Bill Russel and Ted Williams. I remember Russell;s first year here. Both were as independent as a young man could be. They did fine!

    Watching the Yankees once again show, emphatically, the difference between the divisions. Excepting (maybe) Houston, the 3 best teams in baseball are in the East. And one of them has the lowest payroll in baseball, (I think)

    I'll join the Ray's announcers in saying that was, perhaps, the best trow ever made from that deep RF to 3rd, getting the runner. It traveled 305. On the mark, no bounces. Best the announcers could compare one or of the Clemente throws. I'm sure that I have never seen a throw anything like it. Being football night in America, I doubt ESPN will even show it!

    I watch several Rays games, each year, on Fox South (Ft Myers). These players deserve better, The franchise should be banned..Why? Playoffs on the line, stadium attendance is 10 to 20%.

    I thought this thread was premature when it first appeared, but I was wrong. I think Cora will be qualified to write a book, "How to mismanage major league pitching staff"

    Has all the tools. Including command, stuff, arm extension, deceptive delivery. Good example of a manager who doesn't know a good pitching prospect when he sees one. Probably too late to give him a "Fall Start". But I hope he gets a real chance wham spring training rolls around.

    I don't know. The youngsters they bring up fro, AAA are on a par with our guys and the Yankees etc. Howthey keep them (Longoria, etc) I don't know.
