    Good day for the Sox farm. Woo won 4-1 as Burgos did well. Rivera and Uberstine K'd 5 out of 9 outs. notin's guy, Ward went 1-3 w a BB and 3SBs (50th!) POR WON 12-2 as Ziehl went 6 with 6H, 1ER, 1BB and 8 Ks. Rosario hit his 11th dinger and is up to .807. Cespedes K'd 4 times. GRE won 11-7. Azocar hit his 12th (.885) and Martin homered, too. Schaffner went 1 for 5 but had 3 rbi. 11.295) Newby Hull went 3-5 (1.245.) SAL lostb 8-4 but Montero pitched a nice 3.1 IP. Primera homered (.874) and so did King (his 11th)

    Just don't trade Arias or Eyanson for a rental.

    I don't really hold any ill feelings towards Story of the guy who signed him, and not just because I'd be a hypocrite, because I liked the signing, but because Story gave it his all, and it kept us from extending Bogey.

    WSH wanted a MLB pitcher and some prospects. We gave em one.

    I'm driving the B Lowe band wagon. I don't usually put much stock in these kinda numbers, but... 1.138 at Fenway career He's been a TOR and BAL killer, too but just .660 v the Yanks.

    Maybe it was 50-50 then, although Talk Sox was 75-25 for a LHB. Mead may return, so a LHB is 75-25, now. The team does way worse vs RHP, and we face RHPs about 70% of the time. Seems like a no-brainer.

    I'll bite: .925 OPS, 28 HRs and league leading 85 RBIs. Seigler and Monasterio can still play quite a bit. Durbin needs a day off, too. Abrams could even DH some. I'm not betting on 2B and SS being fixed for life.

    Yes, I called it. (Then I woke up.... LOL) I do remember being blasted for even mentioning the WC3 slot. Now I'm thinking AL East winner, or at least the 2nd best AL record.

    Yes, the future is now- just like last year when everyone wanted Tolle & Early. Kinda glad we didn't trade them, as they have morphed into a better Tolle and our future 2Bman Mead.

    I see the Early-Mead trade as sideways. Young vet everyday player for young pitcher. Most deadline deals are prospects for a rental.

    I remember when we got Story, I thought if we could get GG defense at SS and his .752 road OPS over a full season, it would be worth it. Instead, we got .697 OPS, declining defense and only 361 games out of a possible 750ish.
