    I think Whitlock can be very good at any role they give him in 2022.

    Bloom got just about everyone on one year deals. If they were worried about the new CBA, they could have just added more short term deals or deadline deals, but maybe he wanted to start off in 2022 with a clean slate and a baseline tax.

    It was the plan all along. Use Eovaldi on his throwing day. That's not what lost the game. If we have to throw blame at Cora, and that seems like a ritual after every loss, and even after many wins, it was yanking Pivetta too early and bringing in Perez. Even just having Perez on the roster was pointless, unless you use him in 8 run games.

    Being second in spending almost every year, first in some, is not the reason you guys can't win. You are basically admitting you guys bought the George rings and want to go back to that. The Yanks led the league in spending something like 15 straight seasons up to 2014.
