Yankees window is closed. cliff looming. they just dont have good enough players. poor FA signings. poor drafting. kids in the Farm just arent going to get them over the top. they have zero pitching and will continue to ignore this glaring weakness. 2 pump chumps...

so "dirtdog" it is.... tucker had zero to do with springer admiring his wall ball. he busts it out of the box it is a stand up triple.

funny how it goes unnoticed but springer actually cost the Astros a very possible W last night. if he runs out of the box instead of admiring his wall ball he is on 3rd when Altuve hits the flyball...... alcuna was vilified and crucified for the exact same thing in game 1 of previous series. yet springer gets zero call out. maybe because springer is viewed as a "dirtdog"???!!!!???

he still has something to prove in the WS. he's a great regular season pitcher and ALDS pitcher. as the lights get brighter he wilts a bit. his wife is top shelf tho so theres always a light at the end of the tunnel for him.....

World Series or any Yankees vs Red Sox games. thats it. games on TBS or TNT dont count as bright lights. neither do games on FS1..... Cole pooped his pants the first time he was in the bright lights. thats a warning sign for GM Slasher9....

rather see him at 1b in national league parks then OF. it's a no brainer to have him take some reps there. except WTF.

not sure S. also, not sure any of us said just hand him a 1b glove and throw him out there during the season. we were and are advocating giving him reps in the offseason and ST to see how he does. the Cora defenders apparently feel that would be blasphemy.....

which one of their medical histories gave you confidence that another 1bman would not be needed? also, we just saw 2018 how bad JDM was at OF defense. with needing his bat in the lineup everyday (especially in national league parks) it would have been wise to give him some reps at 1b. certainly there was plenty of time in the offseason and ST to try this out.
