    oh boy: we also are being told that ownership would like to be more involved in baseball ops, and that the analytics department will be calling all the shots. From this point forward, the Sox’ strategy will be all about precise spin rates, swing paths, and velocities supplied by Statcast. Game-planning will be directed by the analytics department where in the world is DGale???

    fortnite was down for a couple days with just a black screen saying "thanks for all the years of support". my first thought was we will have Price for the entire season next year! unfortunately it was subterfuge for a re-launch of new season and it's back up and running.....

    I still find myself saying “basehit” every time there is a ball hit on the screws up the middle. More often then not it is an out now. Stupid shifts. I’m not sure if I will ever get used to them....

    oh no doubt they all have egos. we all have players we "hate on" for no reason at all. for instances i hate lebron james. why? who knows. but i love that he didnt even make the playoffs last year. as for harper, i love the fact that just 1 season after he left for the big buck$ his former team not only won their very first playoff series but are now almost guar-un-teed to make the World Series. he could be the nicest guy in the world. he could love playing baseball more then anyone on the planet. i am still getting joy out of the fact that the first season he is gone from the team they make the world series.

    the thing is...the perception of these minor league players is what allows a team to trade their "top prospects" for guys like Chris Sale, Verlander, Greinke. you dont acquire guys like that with prospects from a #30 ranked Farm.
