rickey was a guaranteed PED user. no doubt about it. you cannot use his "longevity" as a comp to a player that is tested.

its not me. its them. he got spiked in the knee and very possible his career was finished because of it. but he still was able to drive the bus back and forth over his teammates.....

i dont think Xbo or Devers gets moved unless young stud cant miss pitching is coming back. the only mandate from JH right now is to reset LT for 2020. we can certainly do that and hold onto both players.

he took 3 steps after catching the ball and then jumped into the stands. he was completely out of position in the postseason on the giambi play at the plate a fan reached over into the field of play and caused a flyout to become a postseason homerun he refused like a little bitch baby to move to 3b to allow a far superior SS to play the position which no doubt cost his team multiple parades he forced his team to wear re2spect patches for a full month during his farewell tour that caused complete clubhouse distraction resulting in "his" team missing the playoffs for the first time in 2 decades defensively he was the very worst SS i have ever seen play baseball for an extended amount of time at the major league level.

JD opting in forced C-BlOOM to either: non tender JBj and do zero other moves for an entire year or non tender JBj and trade Betts and have some wiggle room to add players i believe he will go with option #2. he will make a good faith offer to Mr. Betts for a LTC. we all know Mookie is going to turn it down, but it saves the Sox FO face by at least making an aggressive offer (think 8/240). we should start hearing leaks about this pretty soon.....
