Kluber has thrown his share of klunkers. It's not impossible. I expect better things going forward by some key guys, first game jitters out of the way.

Tito managed that like a game 5 or a game 7. He pushed the envelope on everyone but his SP. great job really, but I'm just not that sure he can get away with that the whole series. Kluber hasn't had his best stuff this season either.

Good thing for the Sox, even though they lost the first game, I don't think the Guardians can keep throwing the kitchen sink at them the whole series. We have to keep in mind that that was also the first play-off game for many of our young players too. It was a good game.

With him a FA at the end of that year he was traded to the O's for Erod. Nice trade, but we should have out bid the Yanks for him in the off-season.

I think Tito plans on using Bauer even for relief appearances in other games. Trying to save his arm maybe a little (if possible). ?

And deservedly so... Even if the O's went on to lose in that same inning w/ Britton or later on, you have to TRY and stop the momentum any way you can. Britton could've been that "get out of jail free card" they needed so desperately right then & there. I don't understand it. He sat on his hands, could've walked EE as well for a force play at home plate like someelse mentioned. I wasn't watching it like a Red Sox game all glued to it and thought they may have already used Britton. That type of managing should get you fired. Pickin' daisies in the dugout... christ... Inexcusable.
