Take 3 of 4 from the MFYs a the end of the month and that should get them the division. with no Price, we may actually have a shot to go deep into thre playoffs! -

Frankly, I don't understand why there has to be a choice. Kimmi and others that understand and use stats to support an argument have said numerous time that the human element plays a part in performance and that it's not always quantifiable. If having people bow down before your extensive knowledge of baseball simply because you've been watching it for 50 years is important to you, perhaps you're in the wrong place. I've been watching since the sixties and I come to forums like this because I'm usually still able to learn something I didn't know. You want respect and admiration, get a dog.

You can stress it all you want, but if the if the game speeds up on some young players on a Friday night, in front of a packed Fenway crowd, there's not much you can do about it except hope they adapt to it. Some take longer than others.

If he's as bad as everyone think he is, I thought he'd be gone either way. No doubt he's made some bad moves this year, both on and off the field. But, there's nothing like an inconsistent BP to make a manager look worse than he is.

It'll be interesting to see if the Sox FO fires a manager that wins 95 (give or take) and wins the division.
