    Even I didn't think the game would be THAT ugly! The Sox game or watching GB wipe the floor with Da Bears. What a choice.

    Agree. I wasn't very optimistic just based on the wildly inconsistent offense. Add a pitching rotation that suddenly can't get to the 4th inning without giving up moonshots and the Sox chances in the playoffs have gotten considerably worse.

    JBJ has a OBP of.423 in iter-league games. Against the AL East, he has an OBP of .290. As for his "getting hot" in the playoffs, his OBP against Cleveland and Houston is laughable. An idea was floated on WEEI, that pitchers in the AL, and in the AL East, in particular, have figured him out. The problem is he's not adjusting to the way he's being pitched to. His "hot streaks" seem to come against teams he hasn't faced very often. Lou Merloni called him stubborn and ( the always spot on) Kimmi says she has read that he's "uncoachable". As great he is defensively, I'd trade him, if the coaching staff can't get through to him.
