  1. This game will be the biggest sporting event of my life so far. I never liked the Tigers. We're the good guys now, trying to avenge America's A's. Lots want the Sox to win this. 20-4 beatdown the last time we met. Cmon Sox, we can do better than that.
  2. It's the 12th inning in the damn NLCS and the announcers sound like they're watching a regular season game. What the fudge.
  3. Tell me about it. One season of baseball is as massive as 10 years of NFL seasons. So much has led up to this point in the playoffs and baseball gets treated as just another sport with the media. There are so few NFL games that the sport shouldn't even be on the same map as baseball. There's plenty of drama and character in baseball, but some media would rather talk about NBA players callin' each other out in the preseason. Yeah let's show clips of all these freaking cool slam dunks in a sport where you aren't even allowed to play defense.
  4. Started driving home around 11:25. Heard the score was 2 to 1 on the radio. Flipped out at Peavy only allowing 1 run (I thought he'd allow about 4). Got home after driving dangerously to find that my mom had to stop listening to the game because it was too emotionally stressful. We watched the last 2 innings. That's what I'm talking aboutttt. Jumbotron says that Rays Opening Day 2014 tickets and Rays 2013 postseason shirts are on sale. Tampa Bay Maddons are eliminated. Sox are in the final 4. Pitching and speed won this game. You gotta wonder: what would have happened if the Sox didn't get fortunate with Ells and Vic and their only run was Pedey's sac fly in the 9th? It would be extremely interesting watching the Sox trying to make the game go on for as long as possible to get Price as tired as possible in extras. All they have to do is outlast the pitching staff. It's like trying to win a Yu-Gi-Oh duel by making your opponent run out of cards...or something like that. What would happen when the Rays literally run out of pitchers? I gotta say that Maddon has my respect for being such a good sport in his post game interview. But good riddens Tampa Bay Fricks!!! Seriously, go away. Lock the door on your way out. Also, how the fudge do I already have 181 posts on this forum? Nvm that's not important. We're going to the ALCS!!!
  5. Showalter doesn't bother me but Joe Madden bothers me to death. During his interviews there's always hidden undertones of some sort. I don't believe this... nobody has written a summary for our game 2 of the ALDS on the 2013 ALDS Wikipedia article yet. Guess I'll have to put something down myself.
  6. Bases loaded and nobody out. Bottom of the 9th. It's going to be epic if the Tigers escape this, but I want the A's to win.
  7. Strikeout. Game is going into the 9th tied 0-0
  8. Massively clutch AB in the A's game now.
  9. I'm watching the post-game on Comcast Sports Network. Supposedly after Price's post-game interview, after he talked about the Sox's lucky win, he said to the interviewers while walking away: "Nice questions... bunch of nerds." Price lost the game but he came away from it looking fricking cool. Idk if we can get past Price and his freaking coolness in Gm 5, so we almost have to win 1 in Tampa.
  10. Lol guys go to MLB Network. That white sox announcer is on MLB Tonight.
  11. Cmon man, show some respect for your players and their families. They're our heroes after all.
  12. 1% chance the rays win this
  13. This game is over. 2% chance the Rays get 3 more runs this game.
  14. This game is so stressful and close
  15. Lackey wasn't stellar but he came through in the clutch enough for a 2 run lead.
  16. Time to get some Amica insurance runs.
  17. dadskfjadhsadfskljads;f STRIKE THREEE
  18. Drew's AB was the best of the game. He had 2 extremely gutsy takes on fastballs away that were balls. Then he gets a similar pitch that's not out of the zone with 2 strikes and somehow knows to swing. Off the monster.
  19. #14 vs #41 and the score is 1 to 4
